Last year 2022 Flavors at the open was better than this year. This year, the food offerings was limited in variety and offerings.
Food was great! Drinks as well. Only complaint I have is that on the website to flavors of the open it describes the venue as eat while you watch top pro's practice. When this was not the case there where no top pro's practicing. So we watched two men's doubles players practice for 2 hours. Bummer
Overpriced, disgraceful ripoff. The ticket price was $180 per person. For example, the greek food was a plate of lettuce with two pieces of meat, each the size of one pepperoni. Long lines because there was an enormous crowd. They played on the confusion with "Taste of Tennis"which I had gone to a number of times and was excellent. Apparently the same evening there was a "Taste of Tennis"at a midtown locale. They can count on me NEVER going again.
Chaotic entrance/registration process. I didn’t get the blue arm band tagging if we all had tickets and these were checked. Created confusion and potential for crowd stampede/pushing at the entrance. A directional map might have been helpful to prevent the bottleneck at the beginning. Microphone system was poor. Could not hear the announcer on the court..But overall, the food, drinks and chefs were great.
