Hoops on the Strip
by Greenie on 1/14/20Every year the opening weekend gets more chaotic. Whether it's your first trip to March Madness in Vegas or your 10th, I feel a guaranteed place to sit, watch, bet, drink and eat, is well worth the $175 or whatever they'll charge this year. If you don't have a reserved spot, it's very difficult to have even a group of 4 gather in a good spot, with good viewing options to enjoy this experience. Some places now I see are charging $150 for a half day session. Hoops on the Strip continues to be an all day event. You can come and go as you please, then return and have seats. Food is your average bar type food, booze and beer are more than sufficient to get you as hammered as you'd like. To me this is a no-brainer. I run through $200 on a blackjack table in 15-20 minutes on a bad shoot. This is money that is used for an entire 12 hours. Do yourself a favor and sign up for a mobile betting app through Caesars, MGM or William Hill. You'll never have to worry about lines or getting blocked out of a bet.
