BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in small-town Britain, FKA Twigs, a.k.a. Tahliah Barnett, moved to London at age 17 with the hopes of becoming a dancer. After landing several gigs dancing in music videos, she self-released her debut EP in late 2012, quickly receiving praise from critics for her otherworldly vocals and the EP's slick production. She signed with British indie label Young Turks for the release of 2013's EP 2, another critical success that was accompanied by a series of visually stunning videos made in collaboration with director Jesse Kanda. With her debut album hitting shelves in 2014, FKA Twigs has ticket buyers eagerly awaiting the opportunity to catch her live.

I may just idolize her way too much but she seriously has the game on lock. I am so blessed to have experienced her live for only $30. She's going to blow up & be a world wide superstar.

Then waited an hour for FKA twigs to come out! Wayyyyy to long to wait between performances. The there was no DJ so we all had to keep listen to the same instrumental, making me nauseous! However, twigs absolutely did her thing when she finally got on stage. Excellent performance, will definetly be attending her next show in NYC

Haunting show! Amazing voice and incredible sound and dancing from Twigs. Crowd was not as dancy, so a bit of a let down.

Great presence as she owned the stage with power, grace, and sweet humility. Her dancing sent the enthusiastic crowd into a frenzy. For only having an EP and her first LP yet to be released, she played for a whole hour. And, for only $20. Looking forward to seeing and hearing much more from FKA twigs. As for Webster Hall, I just wish they would open up the balcony for everyone.
