Five Finger Death Punch on Tour

Five Finger Death Punch remain one of heavy music's most engaging live acts, in no small part because they combine hard rock, heavy metal and straightforward rock 'n' roll in aggressive, energetic ways. Frontman Ivan Moody wears his heart on his sleeve, making him a ferocious lead singer who isn't afraid to get real with his stage banter — and connect with the audience deeply during Five Finger Death Punch's stripped-down acoustic moments. Over the years, Five Finger Death Punch have toured with rock music's major players: In 2012, they headlined Metal Hammer's Trespass America Festival with opening acts such as Emmure, Pop Evil, Trivium and Killswitch Engage. 2015 found the band embarking on a co-headlining tour with Papa Roach. And 2018 brought a tour with Breaking Benjamin. The band has also appeared at the world's biggest and most respected rock festivals, including Rock am Ring and Rock im Park, Download Festival, Carolina Rebellion and Welcome to Rockville.

Five Finger Death Punch in Concert

Guitarist Zoltan Bathory founded Five Finger Death Punch in 2005, and was soon joined by ex-Motograter vocalist Ivan Moody. The band's debut album, The Way of the Fist, arrived in 2007, and immediately established the group as a hard rock and heavy metal force. Five Finger Death Punch's second full-length, 2009's War Is the Answer, boosted their career even more: It debuted on the Billboard Top 200 at No. 7, and contained their cover of Bad Company's "Bad Company," which peaked at No. 2 on the rock radio charts. Subsequent efforts found Bathory and his bandmates reaching even bigger heights. The group's 2011 album American Capitalist spawned Five Finger Death Punch's first No. 1 radio hit, "Coming Down." A collaboration with former Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford called "Lift Me Up" also topped the rock radio charts — as did songs such as "Battle Born," "Wash It All Away," "Sham Pain" and "Inside Out." In 2019, Five Finger Death Punch teamed up with country star Brantley Gilbert, Queen guitarist Brian May and blues guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd to cut a new take on the latter's "Blue On Black," which also became a No. 1 rock hit. In 2020, the band released their eighth studio album, F8.

    A good lineup gone wrong

by DaddioOfDoom on 1/5/23USANA Amphitheatre - West Valley City

Parking is still an issue. Arriving early and still missed most of The Hu. Megadeth stopping after first song due to sound issues which became a very short set. Followed by a longer than usual wait for 5FDP to take the stage. Then to top off the night, power outage to end the concert around mid-set. By now this venue should have a better contingency plan for a night such as this.

    Energetic

by KK on 12/31/22American Family Insurance Amphitheater - Summerfest Grounds - Milwaukee

Great show! The only complaint is when lead vocals Ivan spit into the crowd. Disgusting and disrespectful to fans who took the time to come out.

Great bands. Acoustics off. 5FDP even said that. They apologized for that fact. Otherwise great venue and staff

    Insane

    by A. S. on 12/24/22Target Center - Minneapolis

The experience was insane. Im not a rock/metal girl, as I was there for the country part of the concert, but 5FDP was absolutely amazing for what it was. I can't judge something unfairly just because I dont like it. They put on one hell of a show and gave their fans something they'll always remember!

    BEST NIGHT EVER!!!

by Brandi Davis on 12/13/22Alerus Center - Grand Forks

Started off the night in the hotel bar (inside Canad Inn-can't remember the name) winning $600 on e-tabs, get front row at the concert, touched Brantley Guilbert's biceps, caught 2 picks and got a bat from Ivan Moody, won another $600 on e-tabs after the concert... I'd say it was one hell of a night!!! <3

by Amandasue44 on 12/13/22Denny Sanford PREMIER Center - Sioux Falls

Ffdp was awesome. I don't know what the deal was with all drinks in open cup? I ordered a drink in a can for the purpose of not having an open cup. Seems unsafe and messy in my opinion

    Best 5FDP CONCERT EVER!

by Songbird on 12/13/22Denny Sanford PREMIER Center - Sioux Falls

Loved the concert! I don’t like country but I can say Cory Marks was a nice surprise. But 5FDP was what I was waiting for. Ivan Moody impressed me so much! He gave it his all. And the band playing was superb! I just wish I could have been by stage! I didn’t like the price of watered down drinks! Won’t do that again. That was ridiculous. Couldn’t even taste alcohol. Was like drinking water. Everything else went smoothly!

    First timer

by TSkavlem23 on 12/13/22Denny Sanford PREMIER Center - Sioux Falls

The concert was amazing. The venue was great even though you had to walk through a metal detector and then get frisked…. , other than the $5.25 20oz soda, that I couldn’t even buy by the bottle, it was bought in a bottle and poured in a plastic cup. I couldn’t believe how amazing Brantley and 5 finger death punch was!!!!
