About

Five Finger Death Punch are a heavy metal band founded in 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The band released their first album, The Way of the Fist, in 2007. Their 2009 follow-up War Is the Answer kicked off eight consecutive Top 10 releases on the Billboard 200, including three back-to-back No. 2 debuts for 2013’s The Wrong Side of Heaven, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 and 2015’s Got Your Six. Meanwhile, the group earned RIAA platinum certifications for their 2010 cover of Bad Company’s “Bad Company,” a 2018 remix of Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band’s “Blue on Black” featuring Shepherd, Brian May of Queen and country singer Brantley Gilbert and the 2020 single “A Little Bit Off” from the band’s eighth album, F8. Overall, 5FDP have logged 14 No. 1s on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. In 2022, the band released their ninth album AfterLife. Five Finger Death Punch consists of founding member and guitarist Zoltan Bathory, vocalist Ivan Moody, guitarist Andy James, bassist Chris Kael and drummer Charlie Engen.

    V live 5FDP

by MetalJ on 10/4/09V Live - Chicago

This was the first concert I ever went to at V Live. The venue is AWESOME for live shows. Clean, upscale, and friendly. Not typical for "metal" shows. Good sound and atmosphere.....plus Five Finger Death Punch rocked the place!!!!

Poetry to the tune of Chaos.

by IRTCricket on 10/4/09V Live - Chicago

Everything about this concert was amazing, from the opening acts to the closing song, the energy and emotions of the crowd and the bands were just off the chart. The pit was just amazing with everyone looking out for each other, no intentional hard hits, no fights, just simple throwing yourself into the music. even if you were not in it but around it, it was great to watch especially when the girls started their own. One of the best concerts i've been to in a while, all the bands brought their best to this show.

    FFDP!!!

by vincyntvitrona on 10/4/09V Live - Chicago

The concert was absolutely SPECTACULAR! I saw them last year at the House of Blues, and nevertheless, they achieved their amazing reputation for live performance! Shadows Fall, Otep, and 2 Cents also put on a phenomenal show as well. I HIGHLY recommend seeing any of them in concert within your lifetime!

by deathpuncherbitch on 10/4/09V Live - Chicago

    Never enough 5FDP

by Todesengel on 10/4/09V Live - Chicago

2Cents and Otep were pretty good, but they never managed to really get the crowd going. Their performances were alright, but pretty static. Shadows Fall did a much better job of getting the crowd into it. I'm not their biggest fan, but their stagemanship was better than the first two groups. 5FDP was by far the best of the night. Ivan was so interactive that you couldn't help but to feel the music. Great job Five Finger, and please come back soon.

    Five Finger Death Punch destroyed

by Crosfire on 9/29/09Sunshine Theatre - Albuquerque

This concert was absolutely amazing from 2 cents to Otep to Shadows Fall and finally to the headliners FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH. Ivan and the gang put on an amazing show and there was a lot of moshing.

The whole lineup of bands were excellent!

by Archetype on 9/28/09Sunshine Theatre - Albuquerque

The overall show was great! Seeing Otep for the first time was quite a treat. Shadows Fall put on arguably their best show yet. And Five Finger Death Punch capped off the night with a fist of fury.

    Death Punch Killed

by knucklehead369 on 9/27/09Wasted Space at Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas - Las Vegas

This show was awesome. Five finger As always put on an unforgettable show. I good mix of old stuff and new album stuff. It was nonstop intensity. Wasted Space is lucky to have had them. Wasted Space however is supposidly an anti-club, but it was far from it. As soon as you walk in the door, they wanted an extra $80 for an all you can drink pass. Or if you wanted to sit in a booth, you had a two bottle minimum. Sounds exactly like a club to me. If it weren't for a great band like five finger playing there i would have never went.

    5FDP is amazing live!

by yumehinansho on 9/26/09Glass House - Pomona

Great show, I would love to go forward never missing one. 5FDP really appreciates their audience. The pit was awesome--it was a real community where no one would let anyone stay down for long. SO many people try to help the fallen get up. They sound great live, have great personality, and really know how to make sure you have a good time. From the pit or the sidelines, I really recommend you go.

    FFDP Ripped!

by StiKemUp on 9/25/09Glass House - Pomona

Though I had to leap through hoops and obstacles just to be able to pick up my tickets I purchased online, the show rocked the house and I would definitely recommend hittin' it up whenever they are in your home town.

Shadows Fall at Pomona Glass House!

by Shazzy on 9/25/09Glass House - Pomona

I went for Otep and Shadows Fall, and they were both amazing. Shadows Fall had some sound problems during King of Nothing, but other than that, they played the most killer set! Otep was on top of their game; they had a phenomenal stage show. Highly recommend checking both of hose bands out.

    OTEP

by soyeahitskyle on 9/25/09Glass House - Pomona

otep ftw. I went for OTEP, and was extremely satisfied with her performance. Her scream is pure awesome, and is even better than it sounds on the CD.
