About

Fire of Anatolia...Everything whatsoever belongs to Anatolia quickened in this one amazing show. Where mankind settled down for thousand of years, has been concreted within 3000 folkloric dance figures. Fire there was fire on the immortal mountain, Nimrod, whose peak rises into the heavens. First everything was blessed in fire, all the creation, and then it is dipped in flame with the sacred language of the body and presented to the sun. Fire of Anatolia, which is a profile of the Mesopotamia and Anatolia's history that is identified not only by "Fire" but also with peace and freedom, is a visual expression of the fight between freedom and slavery, beauty and the beast. Along the roads that migrants travel life ebbs away as row of migrant people flow into the wounded lands of Anatolia. All the colors are defeated and then born again together...Death is an icy defeat. Anatolia is an ancient dirge... 3850 Live performances in 93 countries, viewed by over 35 million people, now it's your turn Australia!

by Gigi H on 5/19/24Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

The choreography prepared by drawing on the dances of different regions of Turkey and the origins of the different civilizations that lived in Anatolia was truly magnificent. Our hands hurt from clapping.

Hard to appreciate if you are unfamiliar with the culture

by Ani on 5/19/24Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

The show was interesting and entertaining . But there was no obvious narrative connecting the dances. Perhaps I didn’t see it because I’m not familiar with Turkish culture. The Turks around me, on the other hand, had a blast.
