Fat Laces & Fades Fresh Fest Show Tickets

This was my first time time going to a show at the Hippodrome and it's a really nice arena. My friends and I enjoyed the show. Most of the acts I have seen before at other old school hip hop shows, but it some how still doesn't get old to me. I have never seen Whodini or Dana Dane though and they were great, especially Whodini! My only disappointment is that Special Ed was billed to be there, and he wasn't and no one mentioned his name one way or the other. The DJ's were good too. I especially enjoyed Kenny K doing the old school B-more club music...that took me back! Overall terrific show! I wanted to give the show 5 stars, but I really wanted someone to say what happened with Special Ed because I was looking forward to seeing him perform.

Old school reigns again! From Big Daddy Kane doing his split and hopping around to Doug E. beatboxing and doing the "Dougie". Always in for a treat when they rock the mic! Seats were great and the artists were even better! But where was Special Ed?? Did I miss him?

The show was awesome. I loved everything about it. Can't wait til the next one.

If you are a lover of old school hip hop...this is a must see! I could not stop screaming and mind you I'm damn near 40 yrs old. The energy was crazy and I am trying to catch this show in another city!!!

It was an old school hip hop party! Had a blast! It took me back to the basement parties and brought me up to when I first met my husband. I felt like a teenager again! They have got to come back to BMore again!

The show was great. My only dissapointment is I think it could have been a little more organized. The hosts of the show was not entertaining and the sound quality at times would fade. MC Lyte had the best overall with the drums, it brought a great sound to the stage. Either way I felt 16 all over again.

The show was great I enjoyed seeing Mc Lyte,Whoodini, Big Daddy Kane, and Dougie Fresh.

Overall, a really good show. Just wished that some of the acts -- Doug E Fresh and Slick Rick, performed a bit longer.

I really enjoyed the Old School Hip Hop from Dougie Fresh, Slick Rick, MC Lyte, Dana Dane, Whodini, Special Ed, and Big Daddy Kane!! Took me back to 1985...

This show was the best show I've seen in a long long time. I saw folks performing that I loved as a teen and young adult...still doing their thing...leg braces, old age weight and all..I love love love it. Thanks for the show and come back soon.
