Extreme: Fantastic show, great with fans.

by KevSez on 1/23/15Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

The VIP package was excellent in meeting Gary, Nuno, Pat and Figs. Very approachable, friendly and good natured. The energy and intent on delivering a "25th Anniversary" performance was evident from the show opener to conclusion. Every aspect was of "par excellence!" From vocals, guitars and percussion. It was everything you could have hoped for. It was refreshing to experience a performance where the band members really cherished their fans as much as their music.

    EXTREME ROCKED

by stini777 on 1/23/15Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

This show was everything I expected and more! Technically flawless. Really blew the audience away. Played the entire Pornograffitti album and then came back out to do some more afterwards from III Sides, Waiting For The Punchline, and their self titled debut. Can't recommend this show enough!

    EXTREME- Meet n Greet

by Sambora99 on 1/23/15Mohegan Sun Arena - Uncasville

I would like to say thank you to the band Extreme and their management for the opportinuity to have a meet n greet with the band. I know it is a grueling scheduling with touring so taking time out of their day to meet with the fans. Truly it was priceless.. All the boys were do down to earth and took time to chat, take photos and autograph items for you. I waited to meet them for so long since starting to listen to their first self titled album. A night I will never forget. They sound outstanding and they do not disappoint. Keep on rocking! Till next time Extreme..... Happy 25 th Anniversary.

    These guys always satisfy

by bamperkins on 1/20/15State Theatre - Portland

I've seen Extreme 5 times; each time has been a great show! This time was no exception. Even with a cold (which he self-depricatingly acknowledged by regularly blowing his nose), Nuno Bettencourt played flawlessly. Gary Cherone's vocals have deepened as any singers do over time, by he really put out. Pat Badger & Kevin Figueredo (spelling?) held down the bottom end expertly.

    Extreme nostalgia

by ArthurVandelay on 1/20/15State Theatre - Portland

The bands 25th anniversary of the album which catapulted them to the top of the charts was not to be missed. A great album for old school rockers. I'm glad I got to see them up close. Not my favorite album as three sides to every story had more meaningful lyrics and production quality. But a memorable night. Im glad they havent burned out or faded away.

    Extreme is still so gooooood!!!!

by MaineJenn on 1/20/15State Theatre - Portland

Nuno Bettencourt is so incredibly skilled and talented, Gary Cherone's voice still sounds GREAT, Pat Badger's bass is solid and engaging - all backed by Kevin Figueroa's supreme drumming. Saw them in 1990 or thereabouts and I think they were BETTER today! So much fun, so many songs, the crowd had a blast. Brought a few friends who were not "fans" per se, they are now won over. Totally worth the price including the meet & greet, the guys were all so kind and open. Love them.

    Extreme

by unbeleivable on 1/20/15Mohegan Sun Arena - Uncasville

Very disappointed, the band came on stage an hour late, then played and sand like they where high or drunk or both. Looked forward to seeing them. I would like to think that Mohegan would have done something about them being so late. Hope me next experience with you is more enjoyable.

For the first night of the 25th Anniversary of Pornograffiti Tour, the band was nothing but completely tight. To give back to the fans like it was 1990 all over again was truly an amazing spectacle to watch. The energy level from the band to the crowd was incredible. You could see both Nuno and Pat having the BEST time enjoying themselves during the whole show. As a longtime fan, I am humbled that they still give us A-Game performance in delivery. Gary never stops giving 110% for the fans, and watching K-Figg beat the skins is amazing. One of the tightest Extreme shows I have witnessed to this point.

    Extreme, better late than never?

by Sassyfrassy1960 on 1/19/15Mohegan Sun Arena - Uncasville

It was unforgivable especially this being the opening night of the tour for the band to be over 1 hour late hitting the stage. The excitement of the curtain dropping was definated curtailed by this. No explanation, just let us sit there getting more annnoyed by the moment. The show itself was good, not spectacular by any means. But they've been off the road for a while so I guess it will take some time. I'd go see them again, but it's not worth waiting that extra hour for someone to hit the stage.

    Forgettable show.

by Rosie51 on 1/19/15Mohegan Sun Arena - Uncasville

The Extreme show was bad. Only stayed an hour. No opening act and they were 70 minutes late. They admitted sound check wasn't done and we couldn't hear their voices for the first three songs. Boo

Band Was Great - Some Technical Issues

by MJS805 on 1/19/15Mohegan Sun Arena - Uncasville

Extreme was great. The band was tight and enthusiastic. They went on an hour late due to undisclosed issues and Nuno apologized numerous times. For the first few songs, you could barely hear Gary, but Nuno and Pat were coming through loud and clear. This was resolved after 4 songs or so. It was the first night of the tour and it was apparent they were working out the kinks with lighting and sound. Nuno remains one of the best, and under rated, guitarists out there. Overall, a great show.

Extreme - Sounded Great But A Little Rusty

by AM1973 on 1/19/15Mohegan Sun Arena - Uncasville

The songs were fantastic and they sounded amazing. BUT - there were some VERY weird moments. Nuno kept apologizing for being late (even though they started at 9 - standard concert start time). Gary tripped over a speaker at least twice and dropped his microphone once. And he did this VERY strange Frank Sinatra type ballad in the middle. And Nuno asked someone to give him a tissue - he was clearly struggling with a cold because he kept blowing his nose right on stage. IT was just ......... strange. Slightly unprofessional. But they really sounded so good. And the songs hold up for me. I'm not sure why they decided to do the arena and not a smaller venu - would have been much better suited to an Oakdale or Palace or similar. The Arena was too big and felt very empty.

    what a let down !!!

by dtkstudio69 on 1/19/15Mohegan Sun Arena - Uncasville

drove 2 hours to see this show. been exited about it for over a month. well the band came on an hour late. they showed up late and had no sound check. the sound was horrible for a lil more than half the show. couldnt even hear the vocals for the first 5 or 6 songs. sound was so muddy, it sounded like i was at the bottom of a bowl of soup listening to a show. the band was kicking major ass but, it just didnt have any sound quality. by the end of the show the sound was a lot better but much too late. i was sitting behind the sound mixer and wanted to tell the sound tech he was tone deaf but im sure they wouldnt let me that close. bottom line, this is an amazing band. just hope if you see them they make their soundcheck.

It was great to see entire album played in its entirety. Nino is a guitar god and amazing musician. Loved watching him on piano and video close ups of his guitar work. Gary is always entertaining and charismatic. I can't keep my eyes off of him. The hardest thing is which one do you watch? Pat and KFigg are also super to watch and listen to. I was disappointed the show started one hour late. Someone should have given us a heads up that show was going to be late. I drove from Long Island to see them for their opening night and can't wait to see them in Westbury on the 24th. Thank you for deciding to tour for the album and always playing in Long Island. I hope they will tour for III Sides To Every Story, my favorite.

    firing on all cylinders

by GetTheFunkOut on 1/19/15Mohegan Sun Arena - Uncasville

I saw Extreme on the Pornograffitti tour and they were fantastic. And they were just as good at Mohegan Sun, playing in the big arena to roughly 6000 people, maybe more. And they sure knew how to work the stage, Gary running all over the place like the Energizer Bunny on 8 shots of espresso. More importantly, everyone sounded fantastic. Nuno was especially mesmerizing, proving that he's one of the best guitarists alive today. If you're on the fence about going to this one, I highly recommend that you do. If you've ever been a fan of Extreme then you won't regret it. And it was sweet to hear them do the whole Pornograffitti album live from front to back.
