I really enjoyed the concert venue and the performance!

by Dan on 7/21/19House of Blues San Diego presented by Cricket Wireless - San Diego

Really nice venue which allowed for an up close and personal experience with the bands.

    Thrashiest thrash ever

    by Motorbreath101 on 3/13/18The Masquerade - Atlanta

The show was in a smaller venue than it was originally supposed to be, which was awesome. All the bands were great. Exodus was the best metal show I've ever seen. Everyone did the toxic waltz.

    Dead Posers Everywhere

    by SloanBroChill69 on 3/13/18The Masquerade - Atlanta

I docked a star for trying to cram so many dolts into such a small space. Not much room to get a good high speed circle pit going, but we still managed to carve out and hold the central area of the room.

Amazing show!! All the bands were tight, in-your-face, high-speed metal! Can't wait to see them again. The Galaxy was the perfect size venue to really enjoy the show too!

    Exodus Rules THRASH!!

by KingVVV on 9/7/10Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

Bonded by Blood - Thrash, young band, very good guitar playing, great stage presence, good songs very consistent, ok singing Holy Grail - dragonforce wanabes, gay, amateur, out of place think their thrash. Malevolent creation- surprise of the night, death metal, great sound full and good loud, Been around since the late 80's from tampa. worth checking out, makes getting to the show on time for all bands worth it. Exodus - very good, perfected thrash, tight sound always good to see. By the way I was really impressed by their drummer - tom hunting. Running ENGL, although Gary holds onto Peavey (3120) head GH now has Schecter V - EMG's from Bernie Rico Jr V's

    Exodus was brutal

by slimjsuzyd on 9/2/10Jaxx Nightclub - Springfield

First time seeing them live and was blown away. These guys belong on the big stage. They played a great mix of new and old and really got the crowd pumped up. The opening bands were much better than expected and thought about driving to Ohio to see them again the next night.

    Thrash at the Bluebird

    by 1livemusicLvr on 8/22/10Bluebird Theater - Denver

Exodus was in fine form, whipped the crowd of metal heads in a frenzy. The lighting was a little dark, but that was not the bands fault. The two guitar attack sounded great at the Bluebird. Singer Rob Dukes growl was powerful, not to mention the excellent guitar work of Gary Holt. All together a good headbanging time. The opening LA band Holy Grail Rocked also. HEAVY METAL- Ant

Exodus and Warbringer at the Peppermint Beach Club

by Metalrulz on 7/21/09Peppermint Beach Club - Virginia Beach

Scarz Within started the evening off and they received a lukewarm reception. Anita Ibanez's vocals was not a good match for the music. She also appeared as if she did not know what to do with herself between song verses. The rest of the band was not too bad, but I can listen to so much of people trying to emulate Dimebag before it starts to get old. In the end I could not wait for Scarz Within to finish their set, they are not a thrash metal band and never should have been a part of this bill. The Day of the Beast was up next and they did not disappoint the crowd as they went through several songs from their first CD. These guys are definitely worth a listen. At War is a band that I have never heard of, despite them being around since 1983. I am almost embarrassed by the fact I have been listening to metal for over 30 years and had never heard of them. As they were setting up we noticed the huge drum kit used by Dave Stone. It took up most of the stage and did not leave much room for the rest of the band. Most of the audience was familiar with them as they went through their set which included their classic songs "Eat Lead" and "Semper Fi". Listening to them makes me wish I had heard of them long ago. Warbringer is the band I actually came to see, and although I had read various comments about them, I wanted to judge for myself. The place went nuts once John Kevill started singing the first notes, John Laux, Adam Carroll and Ben Bennett bounced from place to place onstage and they enjoyed being less than three feet from the crowd. Headbanging, moshing and jumping off speaker cabinets went into overdrive as they played a nice mix of songs from their two CD's. If you want to see a band that embodies what thrash metal is, see Warbringer!! I have heard of Exodus and listened to a couple of songs from their various albums/CD's, but I never heard enough of them to want to get a CD. This show would give me the opportunity to see and hear them live. While the music was fine, Rob Dukes spent a fair amount of time complaining about the crowd response as opposed to their show the previous evening at the JAXX in Springfield with Kreator (I would have loved to see Kreator but I couldn't make the show). After Warbringer I don't think the crowd had too much left for Exodus. They went through both old and new material and threw in "Bonded by Blood" and "War Is My Shepard". And while Exodus put on a good show, I think Warbringer kicked their butts!

    Exodus At Peppermint Va Beach

by bowboat on 7/18/09Peppermint Beach Club - Virginia Beach

Exodus great/openers and venue lousy. Venue too small and dirty. Sound quality horrible due to several venue characteristics. Lousy visibility. Warbringer not as together as portrayed on videos. Plus too many poor quality local bands put on bill. Exodus should have reached a little further away from some of their more overplayed mainstay songs and should have replaced them with some of their more intricate stuff. However, it was a week night; the place was a dump; and the crowd was completely lame. I would probably would have packed my crap and left. They have a lot of great stuff that they never seem to do live.
