Imagine a world consumed by all-powerful bass driven rhythm and colossal seismic frequencies. Sounds of dystopian, futuristic worlds envelop the senses and control the movements of your body as the spectacular audiovisual experience of an Excision show takes hold. The stage shatters worlds with massive stacks of soul-shaking subwoofers, streams of mind-blowing lasers painting entire stadiums, flashes of multicolor lights, immersive visuals transporting you to other dimensions, and as much flame and pyrotechnics as you can fit into a performance.
In 2024, Excision will embark on his biggest, most ambitious tour yet, Nexus, bringing his signature bass music and cutting-edge stage technology all across North America. For the first time, fans in every city will be getting the full Excision concert experience.
DJ, producer and festival creator Excision (Jeff Abel) resides at the epicenter of an ever-expanding realm of the Bass Music genre. Hailing from Kelowna, British Columbia, Abel is a pioneer of the North American Dubstep scene with over 17 years of relentless touring, cultivating a huge, passionate community at shows and festivals around the world. His expansive discography traverses a wide range of bass sounds across five full-length studio albums, countless EPs and singles, 17 annual fan-favorite mixes and numerous live recordings, amassing well over 2 billion streams globally.
Under his event production arm Excision Presents, he has created world-renowned music festivals like the prehistoric juggernaut Lost Lands, breathtaking Bass Canyon, beach resort fest Paradise Blue, and major regional concerts like The Thunderdome of Seattle, The Armory in Minneapolis, Mile High in Denver, The Stadium in Los Angeles and more. These branded events combine to bring out hundreds of thousands of headbangers each year. Broader audiences can also catch Excision headlining at legendary festivals such as EDC Las Vegas, Ultra, Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, Electric Zoo and Shambhala.
On the recording side, Excision founded Subsidia Records in 2020 as a followup to his previous imprint Rottun Recordings. Subsidia continues to release groundbreaking tunes from emerging artists with a goal of celebrating and pushing forward the wide breadth of subgenres that culminate in bass music. The label has provided release opportunities for over 100 producers, introducing them to new fans and fostering their continued growth as artists.
Excision's influence can be felt in every facet of the industry. Though he has already established a legendary brand, he is continually striving to help the community grow. Last year, he launched the Bass Music Initiative which sponsored ten up-and-coming bass artists with funds and support to help them advance in their music careers. He says, "Everything I do is focused around the mission of helping Bass Music grow, while still staying true to itself. We have such a caring and loving group of people involved within this scene, and I hope the music will help more people find their home within it."

First EDM event I’ve been to, gotta say… besides not having water, I enjoyed myself. All of the DJ’s were amazing, I got to see Ray Volpe live in the flesh!!! 😵💫and excision had me levitating, his set was out of this world.
Such an amazing show. Great energy and just mind blowing effects. Was worth every dollar.
Line was long to get in but it was fantastic. Openers were great too!
I loved the show and the visuals but there were way too many people on the floor we could barely move and I was getting crushed by people left and right which ruined the experience for me.
It was a really fun and exciting show! The lasers and lights went crazyyy! The visuals from the show was even crazier! Honestly really cool and fun singing along too. The only thing I didn’t like was how he ended it. There was no announcement or even a song outro to finish off the show. He just played a song with some visuals and just ended it just like that. Overall pretty fun though, just disappointed with the end of the show.
All the visual, sound, music, ambiance was violent and insane ! the crowd was wild, the love was everywhere, my neck, ears, back and knees are destroyed but worth it ! will bring my family next time for then to experience something out of this world like that ! X
Really nice show and place, i dont have anything more to say than : WOW
Show was awesome! But i was expecting more lasers and specials effects due to the other nexus tour videos! But still was awesome!
Excisions show was such a good time with the best visuals.
First ever rave was excision and completely lived up to the hype venue was great parking was free. But as a new dubstep fan i think this has topped any concert I’ve ever been to the bass you can feel it through your body while being astounded by the lights shows and the enthusiastic crowd
First time going to the Great Canadian Resort and I honestly have no complaints. The venue was the perfect place for the production of the show and there was so much space! Tons of washrooms and bars as well. 10/10. More events need to happen here!
Best venue Toronto has to offer. Please bring more shows to this venue and avoid Rebel at all cost!!
Amazing music, out of the world visuals. Good show overall
From the venue to the people and most importantly the show itself, I couldn’t ask for more. This show was the best show of my entire life
Great music, visuals and pyro were top tier, non-stop adrenaline fueled performance.
The concert was awesome and Latosha the security guard is one of the best I’ve seen! She made everything feel safe and definitely knows what she’s doing(:
Crazy lights and lasers! It was incredible!!!! Best show I've been to in a while.
$50 for a ticket to take my terminally ill mother is the best deal of a lifetime. I would have paid $5,000 to make it happen. Excision, Ray Volpe, ATLiens, LayZ, and DrinkUrWater brought one hell of a show and my mom was there for close to first in the door until Excision's goodbye. Best night I could have asked for in my entire life!!!
Fantastic. We are so lucky to have the Factory in St. Louis. I appreciated them checking tickets for Floor access, made the crowd a little more bearable. Amazing show. Catch Excision, Volpe, ATLiens any chance you can get!
