With LOTS of emotion from every musical contributor in this performance...reason being is because each artist was directly impacted by George Duke while each musician was working their way to becoming a major artist. There were tears of joy, sorrow and sadness because all performers wished they were on stage with George Duke instead of just remembering him. The musicians poured their hearts out on that stage, telling the audience how George Duke directly impacted their lives. It was truly a unique show...it lasted nearly 3 hours, which was not expected...even by the musicians. They felt so humbled and blessed to be honoring George Duke on that stage that they couldn't bring themselves to end the show. It was good music and a tremendous honor of George Duke.
