Everclear are one of the defining alt-rock bands of the ’90s. Since forming in 1992, the Grammy-nominated band has released 11 studio albums and sold over six million records worldwide — including their breakthrough album and major-label debut, 1995’s platinum-selling Sparkle and Fade, which included the popular single “Santa Monica.” Led by frontman and Los Angeles native Art Alexakis, Everclear toured rigorously throughout the ’90s and 2000s, producing hook-laden singles such as “Father of Mine,” “I Will Buy You a New Life,” “Everything to Everyone” and “Wonderful,” which peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2022, Everclear celebrated their 30th anniversary by reissuing their debut album World of Noise (1993) and embarking on a North American tour where they recorded a new live album, Live At The Whisky A Go Go. Everclear have also toured with bands such as the Stone Temple Pilots, Marcy Playground, Matchbox Twenty and Gin Blossoms.

Great concert loved all 3 bands that played. Everclear was totally amazing and for a good benefit too.
Outstanding show. I finally got a chance to see these guys after listening to them for 15 years. They absolutely Kicked Ass live. I was kind of worried that the show would be too mellow. It was anything but mellow. Cant wait to see them again!! your the best Art!!
Went into the show seeing them for the first time looking to hear all the old favorites. They played a great 75 minute set playing all the top stuff while sprinkling in a little new stuff. Playing in their hometown, they did a good job.
Amazing show! My voice is gone, legs and feet are soar, so tired...so worth it! Art met fans and signed autographs at the end of the show. It was an unforgettable night!
The crowd never stopped cheering. The band was as tight as ever.
As usual, they were HOT! Art is so cool. Signed autographs after :)
I wish I would have shown up late and not subjected myself to Popwreak. The lead singer was adjusting his amp throughout the songs and the Bass guitarist's mic was turned off. I thought they pulled these guys off Colfax earlier that afternoon. Everclear and Clayton Senne were great!
Everclear Rocked the house! I highly recommend this show......The opening band "Clayton Senne" was pretty sweet as well.!
Everclear was amazing!!! I have been waiting to see them and missed them last tour out in NY....it was worth the wait!!!
The show at HOB OC (downtown Disney) was my 2nd night seeing Everclear. I have to give props to the staff, having been to this venue for multiple events annually since its opening (with and without my daughter), we have never received better treatment. We arrived in the middle of Stereofix, a local OC band. I really want to give props to Everclear for supporting local music. Each night, two LOCAL!!!! bands opened in addition to tour support Clayton Senne. I think it is AWESOME that Everclear supports local music. Extra brownie points. Everclear seemed a bit more energetic tonight than at the Roxy (the Roxy was a MUCH later show however) and the sound was better (less issues with house PA?). Same great energy, same great setlist. I could sit and watch these guys for hours and hours and night after night. Art Alexakis is one classy man. I told him my daughter was coming to the HOB show and he promised to watch his mouth. :) He made minor "edits" to some of the more risque lyrics (think Volvo Driving Soccer mom LOL!!!) which tickled me pink that he would remember.
Everclear was FABULOUS at the Roxy in support of their latest release "In a Different Light". They rocked out fan favorites including new track "At the End of the Day" and "Strawberry" from "Sparkle and Fade" (which replaced planned song "Brown Eyed Girl"). The new bass player was a great find and he played like a maniac. He's still uncomfortable addressing the crowd, but with some grooming, he'll become a force to be reckoned with. This was a night not to be forgotten. Art Alexakis came out and did a meet and greet with fans and took pictures and signed CDs, even though the show was not over until well after 1am. Show opening support, LA local Dan Rockett, is much better live than in their recorded albums, but the band is full of energy and rock n roll fury. Their pianist is very talented, as is their sax player. What a surprise! What a great set! Another great surprise was the tour supporting band Clayton Senne, a 3 piece ensemble featuring Clayton on the keyboard and singing. The band was electric mixing blues and rock. Clayton's voice is not one to forget.
My girlfriend and I saw Everclear last night and they were great even though they were pretty late. What made up for that was us being able to meet Art after the show. Nice guy and he thanked all his fans!
The concert was even better than I thought it would be. I was SO glad that EverClear came out and hit hard! Yeah BABY!!
Everclear was sooooo amazing! Their guitar player rocked, the venue was really awesome, and their set list was freakin perfect. They played to their old fans and threw in new ones that were amazing as well! Afterwards, Art stayed and signed CDs, took, pictures, and talked with the fans, which was really exciting for all of us. Also, the guitar player from Lit came out and rocked the last song with them. Totally incredible!!!
Art Alexakis is truly one of the greats, sporting a catalog of life anthems that will no doubt someday be the soundtrack to a bunch of American movies... With a new lineup of young Los Angeles music bucks, Everclear is back after far too long of a hiatus. A steady dose of "Sparkle & Fade" (including a powerful acoustic rendition of "Strawberry"), a smattering of "So Much for the Afterglow" and a few songs from "American Movies" crossed paths with a couple of new ones. Warning - the "new" CD has quite a few of the other songs remixed. Speaking of mixes, the Roxy needs a new sound man... I would have handed out five stars, but the vocals were somewhat lost in the barrage. Oh, and Art was around after the show to meet fans and "take a punch from the boyfriends of his old girlfriends". Did I mention great?
Great show but coulda played longer. HOB in DT SD is a great venue.
Well, I have to start off by saying how much I love Showcase Live in Foxboro. I think it's one of the best venues around! The crowd was a lot different than I expected. It was a mix of 30 & 40 year olds. The music stays the same and we keep getting older I guess. I didn't care too much for the opener Tracy Lions. I think she was generic sounding, and looked painfully awkward with out her guitar. However, the second act Paper Tongues from NC. was amazing! There were seven guys in the band but, the lead singer Aswan North really stood out. He had a great stage presence and outstanding vocals even though he remarked several times that he wasn't feeling up to par. I think these guys are going to be big. When Art Alexakis, lead singer of Everclear came out with his new band the played hit after hit. His commanding presents and soulful lyrics won the crowd over. I felt like I was in my early 20's again. Loyal fans were singing word for word. Even the lines for Alexakis, who fumbled over the lyrics to Strawberry. The band had a lot of energy on stage. Smile all around and even joking from Art thanking the New England Patriots for not stage diving tonight. Refuring to the incident at the Paradise Club in Boston where QB Drew Bledsoe and lineman Max Lane landed on a fan ensuing a lawsuit back in 1997. I hope Everclear continues to be a success. I can't wait to see them again!
First time in my life the opening band was really awesome compared to headliner. Everclear seem like they are tired of singing the same songs over & over again. Guys, make up new ones! Don't change the old ones & call it a "new" release. Again "Paper tongues" - highly recommend!
Great to hear some old favorites and a couple of new tunes. An abundance of confidence and attitude on stage. Guess he has earned it.
I last saw Everclear in 1996. That's a long time between gigs. Happily I can report they haven't lost any of their ability to rock (even though Art remains the only original member). Great setlist, Showcase Live is starting to grow on me as a venue, and really great crowd meant this was a very enjoyable show. Art stuck around and signed autographs and gladhanded at the end too which was awesome.
