Evanescence Concert Schedule and Tour

Rock group Evanescence, initially formed in 1994 by Amy Lee and Ben Moody, released three EPs before the end of the 90s and an album called Origin. By 2002 they were signed to Wind-Up Records and expanded the line-up to include musicians John LeCompt, Will Boyd and Rocky Gray. In 2003 they released their first official album, Fallen, which sold over 15 million copies. Evanescence released a live album, Anywhere But Home, in 2004. This was followed by Open Door in 2006, which sold one million copies in its first week. The band then waited five years to release their third album, the self-titled Evanescence. The band has toured extensively across the world. Their 2012 world tour took in a number of dates in the UK, South America , North America, Australia, China, Japan and Indonesia. The band has received five Grammy nominations and has won two awards for Best New Artist and Best Hard Rock Performance. Other accolades for the band include a Los Premios MTV award, a MTV Australia Video Music Award, a NRJ Music Award, two Teen Choice Awards and a World Music Award. Amy Lee was awarded the National Music Publishers' Association's Songwriter Icon Award in 2008. The bands line-up has varied with a number of members leaving at various stages in their history. One of the founding members, Ben Moody, left in the middle of their European tour in 2003. He was replaced by Terry Balsamo. In 2005, Will Boyd also left, with Tim McCord joining in 2006. During their 2007 tour, John LeCompt was fired and Rocky Gray decided to quit. These two members were replaced by Troy Lawham and Will Hunt. Evanescence's lead singer Amy Lee has worked on a number of other projects. Her version of “Sally's Song" was included on the soundtrack for Disney's The Nightmare Before Christmas. Her collaborations with other artists have included “Freak on a Leash" single and Seether's Broken, which was featured on the soundtrack for The Punisher. She has also performed on tracks for David Hodges, Big Dismal and The Damning Well.

    Blew my expectations away!

    by S. R. on 8/30/22

Listen I know Amy Lee can still kill it on the Mic she made that obvious, but I saw Evanescence like 17-18 years ago and she sounds like almost identical to how she sounded then! I was amazed. Typing that made me feel old but I was went for Korn specifically (who also killed it) but left with a lot more Evanescence on my playlist then when I arrived!

My mom and husband got me the tix for the Detroit show (which was 4 days before my bday) and my husband and I were on the center floor only 3 rows in front and the GA... I heard everything perfectly...Amy's voice is perfect, the band sound like they were shaking the freaking core of the earth. The visuals were epic.... best concert. Ive attended so far.

    My life is complete

    by A. on 2/7/22

This experience was everything to me, Amy Lee was better than I could have even imagined and then combined with Lizzy Hale it was epic. They really put everything into the show and it meant so much to me to see Evanescence live since I've been listening to them since middle school!

The concert was amazing. First time seeing her live. I’ve seen other concerts at this location in the past. The light show was great. You can tell Amy Lee loves her fans.

    Ladies night in Newark

by Jack on 1/28/22Prudential Center - Newark

Just a kickass show. Halestorm was at their best and Lzzy hit it out of the park. Amy Lee surprised me. Her voice never faded and she sounded so good. And yes Evanescence as a whole blew the roof off.

    GREAT CONCERT!

    by Mandi on 1/26/22

It was me & my friends first time seeing Evanescence & Halestorm live, and we loved it. Amy & Lzzy sing even more amazing live. They were engaging & made up for postponing the show with a great setlist (the show was supposed to be December 15, got postponed cause of COVID) Worth the wait and I’m definitely a Halestorm fan now :) Will definitely see them again next time they come around.

    Bad Sound

by Don on 1/26/22Prudential Center - Newark

The sound was clear, pristine even, but for Evanescence's set the band was way too loud and drowned out Amy Lee's voice for most of the show. Very disappointing. The sound was not like this at all for the first two openers.

    Ladies of Rock ...ROCK

by Suspect Photography on 1/26/22Prudential Center - Newark

Great show, pent up excitement from the pandemic made it more special. Lizzy's vocals, guitar along with the rest of the storm amazing. Lizzy has the best facemelt face ever. Then the new queen, Amy and her strong band. I've been a fan since 2003 and have seen Ev a few times and they always deliver. In an age when Rock is old, it's so refreshing to see this noble talent with front woman come to rescue of the ageing world of ROCK. thank you and keep going.

    Concert

by Cruiser on 1/25/22DCU Center - Worcester

Concert was great. My only issue was I paid extra for aisle seats and was the 3rd and 4th seat in from the aisle. If I pay extra for the aisle seat I expect the first 2 seats.

    Ok

by Lenny on 1/25/22Prudential Center - Newark

Show itself was great. Our seat in the bleachers was terrible. Every time someone walked on them our seats shook so badly. If people came down them hard it almost shook your drink out of your hand. I will never go back there again for another show out of fear this would happen again.

It was an amazing experience from beginning to end. Lilith Czar was a pleasant surprise and Lzzy Hale always brings the house down. Amy Lee’s performance is always incredible!

Concert Was Amazing - Worth the Wait!

by Rose on 1/25/22Prudential Center - Newark

We attempted to attend twice before, but Covid and Weather canceled the other shows. We drove 8 hrs and it was more than worth it. The Prudential Center was quick getting people checked in with vaccine checks and then ticket and security... it was cold outside but the lines were constantly moving so we did not really have to wait outside. Venue set up was great easy to get to seats, lots of staff to direct people and make sure people went to the right seats. Merch lines were long but moved quickly. The Bands.. there are no words good enough they were Amazing! Worth every penny!
