I have gone to this event for the last 6 years. This year with only 5 riders I have to say it sucked. Back in the day there used to be 8-10. The energy was low and it just was not the event it used to be. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Why should a guy win who is not doing a new trick. Where is the surprise? Double back is old news. Pastrana rocked it years ago.
this year was my first time going to xgames and it was awesome! i got to meet ryan sheckler!!!!! and casey and tony! Definitly going next year again! :)
During Best Whip and Best Trick you were never quite sure if the contest had started or if they were warming up......During Best Whip you had no idea who was who. They named the contestants once, then everyone rode around in a circle, and everybody in the audience is trying to figure out who is who. The sound system was loud enough but it was blaring loud and hard to understand..........BUT NOWHERE NEAR AS BAD AS HONDA/HOME DEPOT CENTER
jamie b won, and he is the smoothest, other riders threw bigger tricks, but didn't have the flow that jamie b did. could have gone to kagy, tabron, but everyone gets all wet for jamie. excellent venue. excellent set-up.
Announcers do a poor job of detailing who each rider was. Sat a little up and could not understand what the announcers were saying during the interviews. Not much done to keep crowd entertained between events. Should have hyped up events going on at Nokia more.
Great seats, great venue, great weather, couldn't ask for anything more:)
Sun was shinning in Cali. Breeze was blowing. Skate and BMX put on a great scene!!! LOVED IT like aways!!!!!

Going to see X Games live was amazing, better then tv! A must see in person

The skatepark events was the most amazing thing i ever been to. Ryan Sheckler was the coolest person i seen and i got to talk with his friends and family. Ryan sheckler does the most outstanding tricks that i seen in a long time.
X-Games should be brought back to the Home Depot Center instead of the Coliseum. It definitely wasn't as fun at the Coliseum like I remember it was at the Home Depot Center. Switch it back!
First of all the parking lot was on the opposite side of the arena as the will call. That was just one of many problems with the way the venue was set up. I have been to X games every year for the last 10 years. This by far was the worst one yet. There were no ins and outs from the arena to the X fest. That caused a problem with our day. Also the X fest at the LA Coliseum was small and uneventful. I have been to X games for so long that I was expecting a lot more in the X fest area. I was completely disappointed. I also disliked the fact that we had to walk around the whole entire arena again to get to our seats. It was too much walking and my feet were killing me by the time we walked around to will call, walked around the X fest and Walked all the way back around to our seats. The set up should have been better. Also there were maps handed out at the event, but they were of the Staples center, not the LA Coliseum. I would have liked a map of the area. It could have saved some of the walking and let us enjoy our day more.
but getting in was very difficult but the event was great

Amazing giant meganramp moto x was competitive .chicks amazing. Meaning on bikes.Travis pastrana out of this world.
I was sitting in middle bleachers.problem was could not seebmx freestyle because it was on far left.but skateboarding awesome reccomend.....Also no Paul Rodriguez that sucked also ryan shekler overrated.they gave him a higher score then Chad and nayah Huston when his tricks were not as tech.
This event was great. Very much recommended. I will definitely be back next year. My favorite was the Moto X freestyling. It's amazin what the riders can do!!!
I was extremely impressed with the set up for first X-fest then X-games. The had a ton of free stuff they were giving away and free activities for the kids. My son especially enjoyed the King of the Hill skateboard activites. The shuttles between X-fest and X-games as the L.A. Colliseum were prompt (NO WAITING) and clean. Very easy to get to. At X-fest the moto X, Super X and Freestyle riders were fantastic with the kids. My 5 yr old was able to get a bunch of autographs walking through the pit area along with several pictures. I highly recommend this to people of all ages! Very polite crowd all in all.
The venue from last year was much better. The package last year allowed you to see so many different events. The size of the Coliseum made you feel like you were as far away as they could get you and that changed the energy of the event. Could not hear what the announcers were saying and when you could it sounded like they were just talking to each other and were not getting the crowd into it at all... If its held at the Coliseum again I will not go.
