Good college hoops in a cozy setting. Not a bad seat in the house.
Awesome complex and had a great atmosphere. ESPN complex was friendly and accommodating.
The field was excellent. Venue puts you close to action. Second time coming in three years. If your school is invited this is a must. Tickets very reasonable
Concession stands understaffed at halftime, and between games. Surly, Glaring yellow-shirted "Guard" behind team benches was unnerving and ridiculous. Smile a little. This is not a prison camp. Biggest complaint - in an otherwise first class facility the PA System was AWFUL! Could barely hear it. Terrible. Old Spice should give everyone there a little "gift".
Always a great venue on Disney property. Only complaint is the food prices are sky high.
Refs were terrible game 1 They ruined the first 10 minutes of play If I could have left and been home in 15 min I would have Parking Friday am was unorganized Besides that saw 4 good games
Awesome college basketball experience! Love the GA seating and 50% off for Florida residents at the door. Skip purchasing in advance from Ticketmaster to save on all the service fees.
Great chance to see top 25 teams up close & at a great price.
Had a great time at this game. Good place to watch a basketball game does not look like a bad seat in the place. It is a long walk from the parking lot to the gym. My only complaint would be the cost of food and drink but hey it is Disney.
my 17 year old son and I had a great time. I will be back next year
The Disney/ESPN venue is always a great place to watch sports. The HP fieldhouse is cozy but plenty large for this tournament. There should be a heads-up issued for parking and traffic on Friday (lots of youth soccer and baseball tournaments) plus the black Friday traffic. After coming in on Thanksgiving day with no other events, you think that's the way it will be the rest of the week. We could have used some parking attendants on Thursday. Still, the venue is easily accessible and very fan friendly. Seating is open and there is plenty available.
This was a well organized event and true college basketball environment.
This our 3rd year attending. We made this our Family Tradition for Thanksgiving Weekend!!! We love watching the teams and fans in this venue.
Awsome game... I enjoyed the game, HP pavilionm the Wide World of Sports/ESPN Park. This was my 1st time attending since moving to Kissimmee, Fl in 2007. Wow! I will definitely attend the next Old Spice Tournament... Count me in!!!
I would highly recommend the Old Spice Classic to any family which would like to mix watching high quality college basketball while enjoying Disney World & the other attractions of the Orlando area. Our family enjoyed 4 nights at Lighthouse Key Resort & worked in a full day at Disney World & time at Universal Studios as well as 12 basketball games. Would do it again if one of our favorite teams were in the Old Spice Classic.
Great showcase of D1 programs...lots of action..arena had plenty of room to move around. Parking was free, admission was very reasonable..$10 for FL residents. Concessions were very expensive in the Disney tradition.
Most games were competitive. Long lines at the concessions.
If you like watching basketball games, BOTH NCAA and NBA, then you'll like the offer that ESPN has. Two games for a great price. The teams that played in this session really did well with the second game being the better of the two. Because the court is smaller than a professional game, the seating is great. You have great visibility to the court and the players as well as the bleachers across the court. There is a school band that comes to play during intermissions and time-outs, that provides some entertainment for a while.
Great event. We had a wonderful time. Great value for the ticket price.
Old Spice Classic needs to invite teams that have a better chance of being ranked like North Carolina, Kentucky, Louisville, etc. Not only would the tournament be more interesting but there would be as many empty seats. In fact, a team like Kentucky would guarantee a sell-out.
