ERIC ROBERSON IN CONCERT:
Eric Roberson, affectionately referred to by fans as Erro, lets his authentic, heartfelt songs speak for themselves at his intimate live concerts. A gifted singer, Roberson doesn't rely on theatrics or spectacle to move audiences — instead, he approaches emotionally powerful songs like "Still" and "A Tale of Two" with a restraint and clarity that lets his vocals shine and his uplifting lyrics take center stage. A two-time Grammy nominee for his pitch-perfect R&B recordings, Roberson will treat fans to solo classics alongside hits he's penned for artists like Jill Scott and Musiq Soulchild on a string of upcoming tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in New Jersey, Roberson studied musical theater at Washington, D.C.'s Howard University, performing in various productions before landing a songwriting deal with EMI. After collaborating with notable artists like Jill Scott and DJ Jazzy Jeff, he hit his solo stride in the '00s with a string of finely crafted albums that included The Appetizer (2005) and Music Fan First (2009). In 2011, he cracked the Billboard 200 for the first time with Mr. Nice Guy, which also peaked at No. 14 on the R&B Albums chart. 2013's United Tenors was an even bigger success, featuring collaborations with a variety of artists including Blackstreet's Dave Hollister and landing in the Top 40 of the Billboard 200. Back on the road following the 2014 release of a B-sides album, Roberson will treat fans to another round of unadorned shows that beautifully showcase his prodigious vocal talents.

He is an amazing artist and I will always go to his shows! His opening act Avery Sunshine was amazing!!!!!! Ready for both of their shows again. For those who have not seen him, please do so. You will be glad you did!

He sang as many of his great songs as he could which kept the crowd hyped. The mix of sounds from a touch of gospel to DC GoGo was energetic. The musicians were excellent and the vibe during the entire show was truly soulful. You must make an effort to see Eric live.

Avery Sunshine the opening act put on a good show and was a good act to begin the show. I will definitely be on the lookout for other Eric Roberson performances...

Brings back the finger snapping, Head noding coolness Northeastern ohio needs....With that PAINFUL unspeakable radio station just north of Akron selling out jazz along with many local superstars after 20+years.... just to discard them and their fans.. An A+++ to the Keepers. Thank you,,,, there is hope for US.

I never miss an ERRO Show! The ticket price is always worth it. Eric laid on the stage! And when he dared Curt Chambers to play in his boxers . . . I was waiting!

Each CD that he comes out with tops the last… The only thing better than listening to him on CD is seeing him live. It is truly an addictive experience… I am and will forever be an Eric Roberson fan! I see Eric Roberson every chance I get, if he is in the DMV area I am there. He always delivers a wonderful performance! Vocally as well as stage presence Eric is mesmerizing. If you want beautiful feel good, music with meaningful lyrics and a phenomenal live band (in which you will instantly fill the chemistry and a since of family) you will love Eric Roberson and trust me you will become an instant life time fan.
