ERIC ROBERSON IN CONCERT:
Eric Roberson, affectionately referred to by fans as Erro, lets his authentic, heartfelt songs speak for themselves at his intimate live concerts. A gifted singer, Roberson doesn't rely on theatrics or spectacle to move audiences — instead, he approaches emotionally powerful songs like "Still" and "A Tale of Two" with a restraint and clarity that lets his vocals shine and his uplifting lyrics take center stage. A two-time Grammy nominee for his pitch-perfect R&B recordings, Roberson will treat fans to solo classics alongside hits he's penned for artists like Jill Scott and Musiq Soulchild on a string of upcoming tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in New Jersey, Roberson studied musical theater at Washington, D.C.'s Howard University, performing in various productions before landing a songwriting deal with EMI. After collaborating with notable artists like Jill Scott and DJ Jazzy Jeff, he hit his solo stride in the '00s with a string of finely crafted albums that included The Appetizer (2005) and Music Fan First (2009). In 2011, he cracked the Billboard 200 for the first time with Mr. Nice Guy, which also peaked at No. 14 on the R&B Albums chart. 2013's United Tenors was an even bigger success, featuring collaborations with a variety of artists including Blackstreet's Dave Hollister and landing in the Top 40 of the Billboard 200. Back on the road following the 2014 release of a B-sides album, Roberson will treat fans to another round of unadorned shows that beautifully showcase his prodigious vocal talents.

I’ve seen him now twice in Cincy. I was not crazy about this venue (last place was much better) but his performance more than made up for it. Come back to Louisville PLEASE!! You have a following❤️

Wr flew in that morning we flew out the next morning and it was one of the best weekend and best concerts we gave have experienced in over 20 years. Eric when are you coming to Las Vegas Nevada?

His voice is crystal clear and melodic and he just evokes perfection! His band was great and he is just positive, inspiring, grown, and sexy. So so underrated. I would’ve watch him all night as he has a wonderful catalog from which to Select. Ludlow garage is great and staff were friendly and helpful and it was clean! Eric is such a bright star in a very glum industry. He stands alone and doesn’t need to tour with anyone else! A must see especially for the mature music appreciators. He’s my husband in my head lol!

by Anitra on 7/26/23I have been an Eric Roberson fan since the mid-2000s and try not to miss a show when he’s in town. It was wonderful to hear and experience his rich vocals in an outdoor setting! Such a treat. I also loved that his family was right by his side. So on brand for such an authentic and solid performer.

I was not familiar with Eric Roberson but he's a very talented singer and he has energy on the stage. I would definitely pay to see him again. The audience was very interactive and seemed to really enjoy the show.

Oh we wanna hear your music. You and Chante Moore did a lot of cataloging. That was disappointing. So once again we come to hear your music. So give it to us. by Lynell on 7/26/23The Show with Chante Moore and Eric Roberson was one of the great shows we have seen. Both performers were excellent and I was unaware of Eric Roberson but wanted to see Chante Moore. To my surprise Eric was one of the best - he has great stage present and a beautiful voice. I am so glad I attended and did not sleep on Eric. As for Chante, I always wanted to see her in concert and was truly pleased with her performance as well. She still has a beautiful voice and is truly underrated as an vocal artist. I thought pairing the two was great combination and I would definitely see them again. Again, GREAT PERFORMANCE!!
