ERIC PASLAY IN CONCERT:
Lone Star State country singer and songwriter Eric Paslay has made a Texas-sized name for himself in the span of just a few short years. In addition to penning three country No. 1's for other artists between 2011-12, Paslay released his self-titled debut album to a No. 4 spot on the Top Country Albums chart in 2014. At his rollicking live shows, Paslay performs the entire album alongside the chart-toppers he's written for other artists as well as classic rock covers, all adding up to one heck of a satisfying experience for fans lucky enough to score a ticket.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Texas-born Eric Paslay began playing guitar at age 15, honing a songwriting style inspired by oldies and artists like Rich Mullins and Rodney Crowell. After receiving his BS at Middle Tennessee State University, Paslay abandoned his plans of becoming a pediatric endocrinologist in favor of a move to Nashville, where he landed a publishing deal. Settling in, he penned No. 1 hits for Jake Owens and Love & Theft, rounding out his experience with stints on the road opening for bands like Little Big Town and the Eli Young Band. His talents as a songwriter and time on the road provided him with plenty of experience and fodder for his self-titled 2014 debut album, a No. 4 hit on the Top Country Albums chart.
Phenomenal! You can tell that he really loves what he does! Not much small talk, lots of music!
Eric and Lindsay put on an amazing show! I love the small venues and they both play very well to them.
Eric Paslay has really came out of his shell here recently. I've always enjoyed watching him perform, but this night he was amazing! He had fun on stage and you could tell! Love the dance moves!! Frankie Ballard is my all time favorite, he can never put on anything but an awesome show. Once again, his show was epic. He shredded his guitar on more than one occasion. Pretty sure I had a smile on my face the entire time.
ERIC PASLAY IS FANTASTIC. Absolutely my favorite performer.
We had a blast! The venue was perfect! The energy was through the roof the whole time. HE ROCKED!
Great show. See him in these smaller venues while you can because this artist/songwriter is likely to be found in the much bigger & more expensive shows soon!
This was an absolutely amazing concert. By far the best country concert I've attended at the pennysaver ampitheater.
The line up was fantastic The Brothers Osborne killed it! They were just outrageous, Parmalee was incredible and Eric Paslay was also amazing, Each act was incredible and any three could of been the headliner. Truly a great show.
All the acts were good but I thought there would be more salutes to the heros. Just the little 15 minutes at the beginning I feel was not enough to honor everyone. So I was very disappointed. I was also not happy when people stood in front of us and security did not tell them to sit down.
First time at this venue. Very cool setting. Very intimate venue. Eric was great. Really enjoyed all songs including some fun classic rock covers.
Eric Payslay was great and tI liked that the venue was smaller and more intimate. Was a beautiful evening - hope that there are more of these planned here!
I was only somewhat familiar with Eric Paslay's music. What I learned was he has written many hits for other artists as well, which gave him a large catalog to play from. He did a long set and was very enjoyable and entertaining. The main reason I went was for A Thousand Horses, so I was pleasantly surprised.
Never having seen a show at 8 Seconds Saloon before, I wasn't sure what to expect. The venue itself is larger than I thought. There was plenty of standing room and a few tables. Eric Paslay put on a great show and the mix of originals and a few token covers kept people engaged. He's a talented guy, no doubt.
Eric was brilliant, this was my second time seeing him and both times he didn't disappoint. Such a great show!
The concert was great! The club was a little hard to find due to small sign but EricPasley put on an excellent show!
I really enjoyed this show from the up and coming artist Ben Rue to the upbeat and up close performance by Eric Paslay. The 1st Ave Club is a great place to see a show, I have never been so close to a performance, is was great!
Definitly was happy with the entire performance by both Clare Dunn to start and then Eric Paslay! Spent this show with two friends and had an amazing time. Also, was able to meet Eric Paslay and see Clare Dunn after the show!
Great show. Venue is perfect for rising stars like these.
It was awesome! Had a great time! Definitely going to next one.
I came to see Frankie, been following him for years. Even though Eric Paslay was the headliner, I truly came for Frankie. His new album "Sunshine and Whiskey" is the best yet! He can play guitar like no one else! Now that "Helluva Life" is No. 1 I'm sure he will have many more fans. It was a great show and Kory Brunson Band was fun too!
