About

ERIC ANDRE is a comedian, actor and creator and host of Adult Swim's hit series "The Eric Andre Show," which returned this summer for its sixth season.  He can currently be seen as an expert panelist on ABC's "The Prank Panel," alongside Johnny Knoxville and Gabourey Sidibe, and he recently launched his first podcast "Bombing with Eric Andre" as part of the iHeartMedia and Will Ferrell's Big Money Players Network. On the podcast, Andre asks his guest, usually a comedian or other type of performer, what their worst experience in front of an audience was, the worst bombing they've ever seen, and the most wasted they've ever been on stage.

In 2020, his first standup special "Legalize Everything" received critical praise when it premiered on Netflix and in 2021, he starred in the Netflix comedy BAD TRIP, which he produced and co-wrote with his director (Kitao Sakurai) from "The Eric Andre Show." Co-starring Lil Rel Howery and Tiffany Haddish, the film was the #1 most viewed feature world-wide on the platform the first week of its release and marks a major moment in Andre's career as it takes what he's been doing with his comedy to the next level.   According to Howard Stern, "I believe this is gonna win an Academy Award."  He added, "I was laughing so hard I thought my ribs might break."

Andre currently voices the demon 'Luci' on the Netflix animated series "Disenchantment" from creator Matt Groening and will soon be heard as 'John Dory,' the brother of Justin Timberlake's 'Branch' in TROLLS BAND TOGETHER, in theaters this November.  He also recently lent his voice to the animated action comedy THE MITCHELLS VS. THE MACHINES and the animated feature SING 2, as well as voicing the hyena 'Azizi' in Disney's reimagining of THE LION KING, from director Jon Favreau.

Last year, Andre delivered a hilarious performance not to be missed in season two of HBO's "The Righteous Gemstones" as 'Lyle Lissons,' a megachurch pastor from Texas who befriends Danny McBride's 'Jesse Gemstone.'  This past fall, he also starred in an episode of the Netflix anthology series "Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities."

With an already proven standup act, Andre decided to break into the world of late-night talk shows. But, of course, he brings his own flare to what is otherwise a very organized and predictable late-night routine. Unlike his counterparts, Jimmy Fallon or Conan O'Brien, Andre's unrelenting and constantly over the top humor puts some of his guests on "The Eric Andre Show" into situations they never thought they would end up in. "The Eric Andre Show" is a live-action-comedy television series that premiered in May 2012 on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim.

Andre was also seen on the big screen in ROUGH NIGHT, with Scarlett Johansson and Kate McKinnon.  His other film credits include POPSTAR: NEVER STOP NEVER STOPPING, with Andy Samberg, and THE INTERNSHIP, with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson.

Andre starred on FXX's "Man Seeking Woman" for three seasons from 2015 to 2017, with Jay Baruchel.  He was also a series regular on ABC's "Don't Trust the B---- in Apt. 23."

    One of a kind experience

by Drew on 12/8/23Citizens House of Blues Boston - Boston

This was one of the most unique and absurd shows I have ever seen. Eric brings his TV antics to a live audience with all the of the cuff, ad libbed, hilarious energy you expect from the comedian. You've never seen anything like this show before I guarantee it.

by Jerry Tinsel on 11/1/23GLC Live at 20 Monroe - Grand Rapids

There was a stage and ranch. There were jokes and videos. Douggpound was great. Eric was great. Everything is great. I don’t know. I had a good time and threw up the next morning.

    Insane and Hilarious

by Amanda on 10/24/23Bayou Music Center - Houston

I've been watching the Eric Andre Show since I was a teen. I had recently heard that some of his footage was from his live shows and knew I had to experience the madness in person for myself as soon as I heard he'd be performing live in my area. I wasn't brave enough to stand near the stage, and I'm glad I wasn't because it was utter madness down there. Pouring food and liquids all over the audience while inviting some people on stage to perform or be a part of the act. There's no way I could describe what happened without sounding insane, but I couldn't stop either laughing or screaming the entire time. But despite the madness, Eric Andre seemed to have a good handle on the crowd and managed to treat everyone respectfully while doing his normal routines of madness. I also liked how, despite all of the madness, the crowd didn't seem to surge or completely lose their heads. Overall, if I ever get the chance to see him live again, I'll be in front of that stage with a raincoat on and a smile on my face.

One of the best live shows I've ever been to!! So much fun from start to finish. Eric is hilarious and the crowd was a ton of fun as well. Bring him back soon!!!! I was covered in milk and ranch at the end of the show and couldn't have been happier about it!

    Expensive, early, short

by Krystle on 10/9/23The Salt Shed - Chicago

So, we paid about $100 per ticket, the doors opened at 6, show started at 7, on a Friday I like a show to start & end early but it would have been nice to start 1 hour later considering people are getting off work, then coming. Parking is valet: like $50. I HATE valet parking. I don't want a stranger in my car, I don't trust anyone much less a stranger driving my car - I hate this option give us the option to park our own car. Then he was only on stage for 1 hour including playing clips from the show we have already seen... we paid $100!!! Get a good guest to interview.

Fun Show, Great Venue, Deserved Warning Ahead of Time

by Coll on 10/9/23The Salt Shed - Chicago

The show was fun, the venue is great - probably the best Chicago has to offer. The audio did not come across well, however. Which is my biggest complaint of the show. There was video and, of course, live talking - both of which were very difficult to hear. That said, the show deserves a warning that, if you're in the GA section, there's a good chance you're going to be subject to getting wet and covered in food.

    Couldn’t see anything

by Carly on 10/9/23The Salt Shed - Chicago

Show was fun! Couldn’t see anything that was going on though. Would have been great if the live camera feed worked or if there were multiple screens around…

Works better as a TV show

by benzi on 10/9/23The Salt Shed - Chicago

Was fun, but too short and this format (e.g. a live "The Eric Andre Show") doesn't work super well live. Definitely prefer his standup show as a live watching experience.

    Another Chicago crime

by Gayle Pooter on 10/9/23The Salt Shed - Chicago

Eric Andre let me down with this performance piece. Was nothing but highlights of his show and bringing too many eager audience members on stage to clown for their 15 seconds of fame. Waste of 45minutes to an hour. Show didn’t go past 9pm. Fans up close got covered in garbage and strange fluids(expected). At least I was far enough back to not have to change clothes after the show. Could have made other plans. I’m ditching the ranch and switching it to balsamic. Put some effort in bruh.

Funny, but show was too short

by Tater on 10/7/23The Factory - St. Louis

He had an intro DJ, was not impressed, but Eric Andre only performed for 1 hour, extremely disappointed in length of show and how much I paid for tickets and parking that did not exist. Will not be recommending him to waste money on!

    Crazy wild wacky fun

by Bork on 10/7/23The Factory - St. Louis

I’ve watched a lot of Eric Andre in my time and let me tell you, I don’t think any amount of watchtime on the show would have prepared me for what I got when I went to The Eric Andre Explosion! It was like being at a live set of the show but way more interactive and somehow to my surprise, even more entertaining! Eric’s unique sense of humor and chaotic energy lent to me and my friend having an amazing evening, even getting a few good laughs out of his opener, a comedian/DJ, the atmosphere was perfect and I would gladly pay again for another show from this man! You should check it out if you ever get the chance he’s not exactly underrated but I don’t think some people realize how insanely funny Eric Andre is. I loved every moment of the show!

by Random person on 11/14/19Pantages Theatre - Minneapolis

About 5 minutes into the set, my face was sore from smiling and laughing so much! Fantastic set, utterly hilarious and off the wall. Probably the best comedy show I’ll ever see
