EnParejaDos On Tour

Comedic pair Adrián Uribe and Consuelo Duval, best known for their roles as El Vítor and La Nacaranda on the Mexican comedy hit series ‘La Hora Pico,' return to the stage after over a decade-long hiatus. With their punny new show EnParejaDos (which roughly translates to Paired) the celebrated TV couple dig into relationship topics delivered via their signature deadpan humor, witty sarcasm, and clever double entendres that have charmed the Hispanosphere decades over.

Born in Mexico City in 1972, Uribe began his acting career in the early aughts, participating in various theatrical performances and children's shows throughout the capital of Mexico. He quickly found mainstream success with ‘La Hora Pico,' which starred one of Mexico's most lauded comedians, Eugenio Derbez. Uribe, who gained fame for his improvisational, funny observations, also earned wide recognition for playing the part of Ezequiel Hierro on the soap opera ‘Alma de hierro.' He even had a brief reality-TV stint participating in Mexican series ‘Big Brother 2' and dance competition show ‘Bailando por un Sueño.'

Duval, née María Nacaranda del Consuelo Dussauge Valencia, was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, in 1968, and began her acting career in the ‘90s starring in numerous telenovelas and small sitcoms. And like Uribe, her big break also came with ‘La Hora Pico,' where she played a bevy of characters that oftentimes parodied famous Latin celebrities. She occasionally rehashed Mexican clichés using sardonic humor, and also beguiled for her refreshing, self-deprecating acting style.

With EnParejaDos, the peculiar yet beloved television pair join forces once again, but this time, they're doing their hilarious skits live on the stage. The twosome will be making a stop at Teatro Galerías in Zapopan, Mexico. As they promise in the show's subtitle, it's "Un show parAMORirse de risa" — a cute way of writing, it's a show to die for, laughing, but with love.
