Argentinian rock trio Enanitos Verdes (translation: "Little Green Dwarves") have been through a great deal in the 40-plus years they've been active, releasing 15 studio albums and steadily making a major impact across the globe, not to mention among Latin audiences.
Originally formed in the late '70s, Enanitos Verdes first consisted of three members: singer/bassist Marciano Cantero, guitarist Felipe Staiti and drummer Daniel Piccolo. Together, the trio relocated from Mendoza to Buenos Aires and began performing live at local clubs. In 1984, the band welcomed two new members: guitarist/vocalist Sergio Embrioni and keyboardist Tito Dávila. Together, the newly assembled quintet recorded their 1984 self-titled debut album. Ultimately, in 1985, Embrioni left the band.
The following year, Enanitos Verdes released their sophomore album, Contrarreloj (Counterclockwise), which featured production by Latin Grammy winner Andrés Calamaro and singles "Tus Viejas Cartas" ("Your Old Letters"), "Cada Vez Que Digo Adiós" ("Every Time I Say Goodbye") and "La Muralla Verde" ("The Green Wall").
In 1987, the group released their third album, Habitaciones Extrañas (Strange Rooms), which was also produced by Calamaro and featured singles "Te Vi en un Tren" ("I Saw You In A Train"), "Por el Resto" ("For The Rest") and "El Extraño de Pelo Largo" ("The Stranger With The Long Hair"). In 1988, the band embarked on a major tour, which drew enormous crowds across Chile and their native Argentina.
In 1988, Enanitos Verdes released their fourth album, Carrousel, which featured the hit "Guitarras Blancas" (White Guitars), followed by 1989's Había Una Vez (Once Upon A Time). Soon after, however, the band broke up, and Marciano Cantero embarked on a solo career.
In 1992, Enanitos Verdes got back together and recorded the aptly titled reunion album Igual Que Ayer (Same As Yesterday). Throughout the '90s, the band released four more albums: 1994's Big Bang, 1996's Guerra Gaucha (Gaucho War), 1997's Planetario (Planetarium), and 1999's Néctar. The band's 1998 live album, Tracción Acústica, was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Latin Rock/Alternative Performance.
Moving into the 2000s, Enanitos Verdes kept releasing albums, including 2001's Solo para Fanáticos (Only For Fanatics), 2002's Amores Lejanos (Distant Loves), 2006's Pescado Original (Original Fish), and 2009's Inéditos. In 2009, drummer Daniel Piccolo left the band and was replaced by Jota Morelli. In 2011, guitarist Sergio Embrioni tragically passed away.
Enanitos Verdes kept going, though, releasing the studio album Tic Tac in 2013 and touring across the United States with Spanish pop/rock group Hombres G. In 2018, they released a live album from that tour titled Huevos Revueltos (En Vivo).

Great concert, great theater the YouTube is one the best venues for it. Exelente presentacion el teatro YouTube the las mejores salas de conciertos.
Few good songs …. Bad bad bad sound. Sounded amateur sound
The show lacked of energy. It was boring. Marciano was screaming instead of singing and was he drunk ???? Also… don’t you have money to dress with an ironed shirt and different shoes instead of flip flops Just saying !!!!
What an amazing band! I have followed Enanitos Verdes since the 1990s and they continue to impress me.
Great concert only negative is the concert did not start until about 90 minutes after the posted start time
It was an amazing concert I was singing and dancing most of the show
This concert was amazing! I had been anticipating it for a while and I was not disappointed!! We were let in right when the doors opened and Los enanitos verdes came out one and a half hours later. They were great, would definitely go again if I have the chance to see them again :))
Rating 5 stars for the concert only, 0 stars for the poor parking management causing us to miss half of the show. Nearly TWO HOURS waiting on a traffic lineup inside the fairgrounds for parking (that was prepaid online) then told only because we flagged someone down to our car and asked…all lots are full and you’re on your own to find parking outside of the fairgrounds wherever possible. Such a racket to take $$ from people ahead of time for parking. This is not the Mex/US border crossing so very confused on how staff can’t get it together at the fairgrounds. The positive was catching last hour of concert by this amazing trio so for that we will always be grateful to have at least caught some of it, and very easy in and out to concert once we walked/ran in from our parking spot outside of the fairgrounds.
My husband and I very sadly missed half (one hour!) of the concert due to waiting in a lineup of traffic to get into our pre-paid reserved parking…only to be told after such time when we flagged down parking staff while at a standstill that actually all lots were full and we’d need to just keep heading out and beyond the fairground parking…! We eventually made it out of the traffic jam and parked in residential Del Mar and walked just 15 mins to the entry gate and into concert, wishing we’d just done that in the first place. We got to the event over an hour prior to start time and still missed a whole hour of the show due to very poor parking management. Lost my $15 pre paid parking ticket but more importantly only got to see one hour of the co very we’d been looking forward to, love Enanitos Verdes and can imagine many others were in same situation in gaining access. We will NEVER trust the parking scene at the fairgrounds again and will always park in the surrounding neighborhood and just walk in. So frustrating when you’ve paid for parking and to see a concert and spend half the time worried you won’t make it for start time or have option of heading out of the traffic jam so that you CAN walk in on time. Why require online parking reservation when there is no intention of honoring it or even attempting to communicate with the many people standing in traffic on alternatives?!
Completely disappointed with this concert. I had high expectations but poor sound and terrible venue did not contribute for a good experience. Will like to give enanitos verdes another try somewhere else. This one truly deserves 1 star.
Did not make to the concert due to bad traffic. And no parking available.
The brand new venue was super clean and staff was very nice the moment we walked in the property. House of blues always has a great sound to any band that plays there
This was unforgetable!first the place it was held and everything around it was beautiful! The string lights made it so wonderful and romantic it was our 20yr anniversary. And the people were around us were drunk but nice and having! Although it was too hot thank god i had a paper fan we had so much fun. And drinks were a bit too much LOVED IT
Great band, great show, and great venue. Not a bad seat at this venue.
Excellent concert, I will recommend it to all the fans!!
BEST HOUSE OF BLUES VENUE,AMAZING SERVICE,ROCKING ATMOSPHERE, WE HAD AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE,WE WILL BE BACK FOR SURE!!
Show started late but that is to be expected at any concert. Once Los Enanitos took the stage the crowed exploded with energy. is was my first time seeing them. They did not disappoint. They are a classic. They sounded amazing. They played all their hits. No flashy show, just the 3 of them. That's music!
This is my 3rd time watching Enanitos Verdes perform live and they never disappoint.
The concert was sold out. Frankly, I think there were 10-20% more people than what should be allowed in the venue. It was almost impossible to have a comfortable place to see the stage without having to peek between the heads of others. Given how expensive the tickets were, I find that unacceptable. The band was very good, but I felt cheated paying so much to be so cramped. I'm giving it 3 stars because the band was great but the tickets were super expensive and the place was way too packed.
This show was totally fun. These classic rock bands know how to enliven the crowds. While the crowd cheered Hobres G more, I thought Enanitos Verdes had the best songs and played better. Come ready to dance and enjoy some of the greatest hits of the 80s sbd 90s.
