    EA concert

    by aranel7 on 2/21/12Royale Boston - Boston

One of the best concerts I have ever been to! The costume, the set, the choreography, everything was so amazing! Muffins were thrown, I touched EA's and Captain Maggot's hand, bought $60 worth of merchandise <3 The songs were amazing, the acoustics were incredible, the set was perfect. The atmosphere perfectly matched the music. I love everything they did for the concert Definitely recommend to everyone :D Perfect view of stage no matter where you were

What an amazing experience. My son and his friend went and I came in at the end of the show. The band really gives you your moneys worth. They are incredibly talented and generous and we were lucky to be able to see them.

    Great show, Emilie was amazing

    by jamie3339 on 2/21/12Royale Boston - Boston

This was a really good show. A production more than just a concert. I went with my fourteen year old daughter and my sixty year old friend and they both loved it. The venue was great, people (cast, crew and crowd) were all nice, pleasant and fun. Go see it. You won't be disappointed. It's fun and different and risque and just great.

    The Plague Rat's Tea Party

    by GloriaWhatshername13 on 2/21/12Royale Boston - Boston

She may seem to be a stereotypical candy goth princess but Emilie Autumn doesn't let that image control her. She puts on a wonderfully mad and entertaining tea party/cabaret. I felt as if I was at an Off Broadway show due to her simple yet pleasing theatrics and dramatic performance. Her co performers, The Bloody Crumpets, add light hearted humor to an otherwise melodramatic show. For anyone seeking an evening of wayward Victorian/Industrial fun, this is the show to see!

    One Hell of a Show!

by MymyLuv on 2/21/12Royale Boston - Boston

Emilie Autumn's preformance was definatly an unforgettable one. The theatrics were incredible and everyone was in awe. All of the preformers had their own personalities. It was more of a stage preformance than a concert. Be warned though: it was very hyper sexual. There was a lot of girl on girl touching and kissing, and suggestive behavior. This didnt bother me much, but I wouldn't recommend bringing young children.

    Emilie Shines

by SereneInsanity on 2/21/12Royale Boston - Boston

Emilie Autumn is an amazing artist, whose work speaks so loudly to so many people. Or it really should, in my opinion. She has a fantastic voice, both in her gritty rocker songs and in her more melodic pieces. Her show is very entertaining and engaging and I was glad for a chance to see her live.

Emilie Autumn and her Crumpets were to DIE for

by TragycBeautye on 2/6/12El Rey Theatre - Los Angeles

Seeing Emilie Autumn and the Bloody Crumpets was beyond what I had hoped for. The El Rey Theatre's art deco ambiance was the perfect accompaniment to The Asylum's warrior. EA's energy was fierce and so true to her message. I would encourage every EA fan (or muffin, rather) to embrace their inner Plague Rat and support this incredibly powerful and inspiring woman. Every essence of what she and the B. Crumpets brought to the stage was unforgettable and undoubtedly thought-provoking. This is not just a performance- this is an autobiographical documentary. I was privileged to enter, and become a part of, The Asylum, and came out of it feeling like I had another home. Thank you to Captain Maggot, The Blessed Contessa, and Naughty Veronica for your spectacular talents and ferocious beauty. And, above all, thank you to Emilie Autumn for your bravery, your passion, and for fighting like a girl.

The Venue and staff were amazing. Emilie Autumn was fantastic, but I really wish she would have waited on touring until her record was finished, as most of the audience was lost due to the fact that they didn't know any of the unreleased tracks she was singing. Her fans weren't very energetic so that kind of put a damper on the concert.

    Felt like a Dream :)

by suki4 on 2/6/12El Rey Theatre - Los Angeles

Yeah i had to wait about an hour and a half for her to perform. Also, it felt rather short, I understand she had VIP sessions too but come one. :| But I was patient seeing that I wished to see her for 5 years now. So all was well.

EA always puts on a great show!

by thetoast on 2/6/12El Rey Theatre - Los Angeles

The last time I saw EA was at a teeny venue in Pomona. I was happy to see her at the El Rey, which has a larger stage and swankier feel. The dark red velour matches the sinfully burlesque, frightfully desperate, and wild feel that I come to expect from EA and The Bloody Crumpets. I enjoyed every minute of their shenanigans, always impressed with the set design and attention to detail. Having The Contessa and Captain Maggot come out with acrobatic theatrics is always a highlight of the show. This show was definitely more gritty than flirty, which may come as a surprise to the men in the audience who came to see a burlesque show. Yeah, they're wearing corsets and lace and kissing each other, but they do it as she's growling about killing 49% of the population (i.e. the men). :P

I had to drive three hours to see this show, and it was worth every mile. If Emilie Autumn comes back to Kansas City on her next tour, I'll gladly make the trip again.

More a cross between burlesque and circus, this was a very enjoyable show. The music was excellent and even though Emilie was recovering from tonsillitis, she put on an energetic and entertaining performance.

    Great Show

by Sploot on 3/7/11El Rey Theatre - Los Angeles

This was a great show, A bit more of a show than a concert, with a lot of the music being prerecorded. Emily was playing the violin live, as well as the harpsichord. The Bloody Crumpets where great. A lot of fun. It's hard to pick a favorite because each of them had their own style.
