Nice show - good performers and I enjoyed it a lot! Very good time
What a wonderful show. Not the usual Elvis-impression type, but a musical history of Elvis’ musical career. Excellent talent. Only negative is the depressing hotel, Harrah’s, not the show. Hope the show moves to a better hotel.
I expected a true Elvis tribute artist. The performer sang about 4 or 5 songs himself in the first 40 minutes of the show. The rest of the time the backup players - and they had excellent voices and music - sang the songs. “Elvis” was acceptable but he did not have the moves, the facial expressions or the hair. The photo of the artist in the ads was taken probably 10-15 years ago! I left after 40 minutes. If you just want to see the story of Elvis’s life, it was good. By the way the stage lighting needs the bulbs updated! I counted about 12 bulbs out which made it look cheap!
Great show! Comfortable seating Enjoyed music all performers were excellent!
Viewed the preview show on 4/15. Could tell that it was a preview show since the execution was a little rough. Music and singing performances were very good. The show is not really a play but kind of a musical review of Elvis from initial professional performances up till 1960's with interesting facts and pictures thrown in. I was puzzled by execution of Elvis songs by other performers when I would have liked to have heard and saw them performed by Elvis impersonator. Creators of show didn't seem to know how to wind down and end the show. Last number was very good but I kind of left the theater slightly unsatisfied and wanting more. Would view again when this show has its rough edges polished off. Praise to Elvis impersonator - fine job. Advice to producer - let Elvis loose more so we see him performing and moving as he was in his early years.
