Elvis Presley - In Concert was outstanding!!!!!!!!

by BBowden on 2/14/11Mohegan Sun Arena - Uncasville

I am a HUGE Elvis fanatic. I have seen the Elvis Presley - In Concert 5 times now and it keeps getting better and better. I absolutely love it. It is the next best thing to seeing Elvis live, which I did back in 1973. I wish everyone could know how wonderful this show is and take advantage of seeing the most awesome tribute to Elvis ever.

    Elvis Delivers!

by KCEC on 2/14/11Mohegan Sun Arena - Uncasville

The entire concert was captivating and so entertaining right from the first moment, and remained so the entire evening-- all the way through-- till the announcement that said "...Elvis has left the building!"......The sound and video quality were excellent, the lights awesome, and the live music and back up singers too good to be true. A must see show for all Elvis fans, and really for any person who loves good music. All ages were present, and the crowd swelled with excitement---it was contagious!!! Bravo and three cheers for the people responsible for putting together this wonderful tribute to Elvis Presley!

    Elvis was in the building!

by TMCM650 on 2/14/11Mohegan Sun Arena - Uncasville

A great show in all respects. Videos of songs from several Elvis concerts were shown on 3 big screens with Elvis' original voice tracks and live musicians, including two members of Elvis' band, playing to match the way the songs were played at that concert. The synchronization between the live music and the video and voice track was dead on thru out the show, the sound quality was terrific and the playlist had something for everyone. Definitely a show worth seeing if you're an Elvis fan or a fan of oldies from that timeframe (I'd say the concerts shown were sometime in the late 60s of possibly as late as '70 or '71).

Elvis is still the king of rock n roll

by bearweiman on 2/14/11Mohegan Sun Arena - Uncasville

This was the six time I have seen this show and it gets better everytime. The lights dimmed the intro music began and the curtain went up. Elvis was bigger then life on a giant video screen in the center of the stage. Surrounding him was most of his band mates including James Burton on guitar and Glen Hardin on piano. Jerry Scheef and Ronnie Tutt were not performing on this night. The show lasted about two hours with a intermission between sets. It was an awesome show I hope they come back real soon.

The King and undisputed ruler of Rock 'n' Roll

by FatherFan on 2/14/11Mohegan Sun Arena - Uncasville

I've seen the show five times so you think I would be used to the experience. Not so. The songs and presentation changes each time. I can't explain exactly why, but this show was the most vocally electric of all. The man could sing. I've heard a lot of great singers over the years and Elvis was, far and above, the greatest. The arena rocked, people were in awe, eyes teared up and time stopped. I would recommend this to anyone with a sense of Elvis' legend or any youngster who wants to see real talent. My wife was with me and she had seen Elvis live three times during the 70's. In her words, this was close. While nothing can match his voice live, not records, not video and not digital, but the experience is still handed out in spades.

    RELIVE Elvis In Concert

by CathiElvis on 2/14/11Mohegan Sun Arena - Uncasville

Forget the Impersonators and the Elvis wannabes....there can only be one Elvis. He is not with us in body but he is in spirit. When you see this show you forget he is NOT there on the stage. The band is live, the backup singers and the orchestra too. Elvis is there on the big screen looking and sounding awesome. You just get so caught up in the excitement that you forget he is really on film. I was lucky enough to see Elvis on stage for 13 shows and this is really the next best thing to having him back with us again. IF the show comes to your area...GO AND SEE IT. IF you are an Elvis fan, you won't be disappointed believe me!
