Elton sang for 2 hours straight...no gimmicks, no filler material. He chats, plays, and sings. He seems to enjoy the entire event, and gives the large venue an intimate, personal feeling. I bought tickets after reading an article about the 1974 film from Madison Square Garden, where John Lennon joined Elton on stage. This would be Lennon's last public performance. The article said Elton had had the film digitized and remastered, and was going to play it in its entirety. Elton did talk about the moment, and the back wall had about a 30 second clip projected, but I now believe it is in Elton's upcoming show that the full film will be shown. Also, see my mention of my seats (below), because a stupid Ceasar's Palace themed column blocked my entire view anyway.
