The Eli Young Band may have felt like an overnight success when they stormed the country charts with their No. 1 hits "Crazy Girl" and "Even If It Breaks Your Heart" in 2011, but in reality the success was over a decade in the making. The two tracks appear on the band's fourth album, "Life at Best," which climbed to No. 6 on the Billboard 200 and marked a career-high for a band that had never charted above No. 30 on the chart before. In 2013, the group teased their in-the-works fifth album with the new single "Drunk Last Night," and launched a headlining US club tour of the same name. The band got its start when founders Mike Eli and James Young shared a dorm room as freshmen at the University of North Texas. By 2003, they'd added bassist Jon Jones and drummer Chris Thompson to their group and, on the strength of their energetic concerts and countrified melodic rock, began to develop a deep fan base in Texas and the Southwest, sometimes selling a couple of thousand tickets to shows in the region.
This concert was fantastic. The seating was a bit close, where people were rubbing shoulders. Really would have been an exciting night had there been a dance area. With the couple issues I would still come again
The Eli Young Band concert at Legends Casino was awesome! The venue was perfect, making the whole experience feel super intimate and special. And the band? They were incredible, playing all the hits and really connecting with us in the crowd. The energy was through the roof, and you could tell they love what they do. Honestly, it was a night to remember. If you get a chance to see them live, definitely go for it. You won't regret it!

Easy checkin long lineup for drinks/ 2 bartenders. Only played for an hour it was short and sweet.

I took my mother to this concert as a Mother's Day gift. Lately, Eli Young Band is among the bands I most listen to on a given week, and I was so looking forward to this show. The band played a great set list, and their energy was great throughout the show. However, a few songs in, my mother and I agreed that everything sounded the same in a way that surprised us. Upon further reflection, we agreed that the sound was unbalanced and the bass was too night. The result was that we could barely hear the lead guitar or the vocals which reduced normally melodic songs to a beat. Maybe their usual sound engineer was sick? Either way, the audience's response suggested others were as bewildered as we were. When the wrapped, the crowd barely applauded, and the band returned to virtual silence to give an encore. I'll still listen to their albums, and will likely even buy some vinyl, but I won't see the Eli Young Band again if they come through town.
Band sounded great and were entertaining. Someone proposed during the show. Cool bonus. Band played some good covers too
I love going to Aura. It’s always sparkling clean. All the employees are great. Drinks and food were Delish! Eli Young band put on a good show!
Upon showing up the venue was already packed person to person no room to breathe, couldn’t even walk around or get a drink. Upon trying to settle in and find a spot whenever we thought we found a good spot security guards would tell us to move and/or yell at us! We stayed for the first few songs of Eli young band which was awesome! But the experience left little to be desired and we didn’t stay for the whole show!

The band was what I expected of them, they are great performers. The venue, however, is "classic-not classy". It's gross and their drink selection is awful.

We left 1/2 way through the show. His voice just isn’t there. He sounds much better on the radio/streaming then live.

I love it especially because it was on my birthday. My very first concert and I can’t wait to hopefully see another concert. I would absolutely recommend the saloon too. The food was good and so where the drinks.
Absolutely loved the concert. The atmosphere was amazing, the place was incredible and the band brought so much energy. My only complaint is that we had to wait for about 1.5 hours for the Eli Young Band to start after the opening band, which was tiring.
One of the best shows I’ve ever been to. The venue is perfect, every spot has a good view. The band was on point and really funny!
