It was my first time going to a gymnastics competition and it was great! The athletes were just fierce competitors. I will be going to more.
Great experience, very well organized…… I will attend again.
This was a first for me, having watched many sporting events life, I had never seen collegiate level gymnastics. Was a great event and I would highly recommend it for the atmosphere, excite me and athleticism.
The show was great, but the venue was lacking. No gear for purchase, lighting and sound was also an issue. Very limited on food choices as well. As they were introducing the athletes, the lights were off on stage??????
The experience was surreal. We got to see the college gymnasts warm up and compete. This was an amazing experience!
I shared the special day with my 5 year old granddaughter. She was over the moon with this event and asked if we could come back again next year, I replied I sure hope so Sweetie.
This is the second meet I’ve been to at Von Braun Center and it was disappointing again. First, there are so many seats with obstructed views because of the layout, railings and other obstructions. Very frustrating! Second, the technical support for the meet, just like last year at the SEC championship, was terrible. Incorrect scores, missing scores, no scores at all sometimes. Really hoping this meet returns to Birmingham.
My daughter and I have always watched college gymnastics on tv so when I heard they were going to be at the Huntington we had to go. We knew the teams that competed and it was so cool to see them in person. Just wished they advertised it better because we would have gone both days.
