Electric Callboy on Tour

Electric Callboy, formerly known as Eskimo Callboy, is a German metalcore/electronicore group specializing in comedy rock. Their first EP was released in 2010 via EMP (and later re-released via Redfield Records), and the group opened for acts such as Bakkushan, Callejon, Ohrbooten, We Butter the Bread with Butter, and Neaera.

Featuring current members Kevin Ratajczak, Daniel "Danskimo" Haniß, Pascal Schillo, Daniel Klossek, David Friedrich, and Nico Sallach, Electric Callboy has been releasing albums since 2012's debut Bury Me In Vegas, which the band followed up with the Geki Rock Tour. In fall 2013, the band won the Up And Coming award at the German Metal Hammer Awards.

In 2014, Electric Callboy released their sophomore album, We Are The Mess, produced by Kristian Kohlmannslehner and featuring guest appearances by BastiBasti of Callejon and former Hollywood Undead singer Deuce ("Jagger Swagger"). The band toured Japan in support of the album and later toured Europe with Iwrestledabearonce, Her Bright Skies and To the Rats and Wolves as openers.

The following year, Electric Callboy released their next album, Crystals, via Spinefarm, and in 2017, they shared another album, The Scene, via People Like You and Century Media. Since then, Electric Callboy released another two albums: 2017's Rehab and 2022's Tekkno, plus one EP: 2020's MMXX. Around the release of Rehab, the band embarked on their Rehab European Tour 2019.

In February 2020, the band announced via social media that their longtime singer Sebastian "Sushi" Biesler would be leaving the band. Nico Sallach stepped in and has been the singer for Electric Callboy in the years since.

In late 2021, Electric Callboy announced that they would be changing their name from Eskimo Callboy. Their first song under the new moniker was 2022's "Spaceman" featuring the rapper FiNCH. They also released the singles "We Got The Moves," "Pump It," and "F***boi" featuring the metalcore band Conquer Divide.

In December 2021, Electric Callboy announced via Twitter that they had submitted their single "Pump It" into the German national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, but they were ultimately not chosen in the final list of participants.

  • A show isn't fun when you can't move

by MuzakMaker on 9/8/23Fillmore Minneapolis presented by Affinity Plus - MinneapolisRating: 3 out of 5

Once again The Fillmore refuses to think smart about capacity and crammed in way too many people. The acts were amazing and the AV game was on point, but it's so hard to enjoy the great show when you're stuck trying to occupy the same space as 5 other people

  • Epic

by Riplee on 9/8/23Fillmore Minneapolis presented by Affinity Plus - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Some of the best showmanship I've ever seen. Been in the music business myself now for about 15 years performing and going to shows and ice yet to see a better all around live show that wasn't pop.

  • 10/10 would party again

by Lassiclassi on 9/8/23Fillmore Minneapolis presented by Affinity Plus - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

I had so much fun with this group. The show was well done and flowed seamlessly with callbacks to older songs and newer songs. Can't wait for them to come back!

Very fun and energetic show. I have been waiting 2 years to see this band, it was well worth the wait. It was also a friend's birthday, so it was beyond fun.

  • Incredible!

by Pickles on 9/6/23Fillmore Auditorium (Denver) - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

Couldn't believe how quickly the shows sold out. It was worth buying the tickets as soon as possible. Although it was super packed at the venue, everyone was super nice. It was so much fun from start to finish.

These guys had such incredible energy and sound even better live than recorded. I was so exciting to see them, and they sure as hell did not disappoint! 100% would see them again! I like the layout of the venue, and felt that drinks and bathrooms were easy to find and get to.

  • Electric Callboy and their friends rocked the house

by Dutch on 9/6/23Fillmore Auditorium (Denver) - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

An absolutely wonderful show. I learned about some bands I hadn't heard of before (Conquer Divide and Solence) who put on a great show and then Electric Callboy brought some intense energy with their performance. We danced and headbanged nonstop. Can't wait to see them again.

  • Eletric Callboy!!!

by Courtney Kudrna on 9/6/23Fillmore Auditorium (Denver) - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

This was one of the best concerts I've ever been too! Absolutely phenomenal stage presence, they sound damn near identical to studio audio, and overall it was incredible. I will be seeing them everytime they come out my way, driving 7 hours to see them was worth it!

  • One of my favorite concerts of the year!

by Jax on 9/6/23The Depot - Salt Lake CityRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing set list and lighting engineering! Good people, no disturbances or over the top moshers.

  • Extremely Fun!

This band is fantastic live and I had a great time at the show. Cool screen effects, sounded awesome! They were killing it!

  • Great sound. Terrible Venue

by Electric Fanboy on 9/5/23The Depot - Salt Lake CityRating: 4 out of 5

They were so much fun ! They sounded amazing and were so entertaining. Unfortunately the venue they were playing in was way too small for their fans because I was being smushed the entire time they came out. So bad to the point where I had to go to the outskirts of the venue. Which was sad being that we got to the venue early to secure a good view.

  • Amazing energy

by Khaos on 9/5/23The Depot - Salt Lake CityRating: 5 out of 5

10/10 show, can't wait to see them live again! The energy was phenomenal, the band was hype and engaged with the audience.

  • So good!

Maybe the best concert I've been to. Awesome energy and so much fun. Must see!

  • These guys were PHENOMENAL!

by Alex Johansson on 9/5/23The Depot - Salt Lake CityRating: 5 out of 5

I've been a huge fan of E.C. for a long time now and immediately jumped on their tickets and vip passes when they went on sale and it was worth every penny and 10X more! Their openers were both perfect fits to build up their set and definitely built up the energy of the show. Electric Callboy themselves were Top tier showmen! They had great crowd interaction and put on the best show I've seen! I can't wait to see them again the next time they come through town!

  • Amaze Balls

The Van Buren has got to be my favorite venue in the Valley at the moment. Sound is always amazing and the beers/food are as well. Electric Callboy absolutely killed it. One of the best shows I've ever been to.
