by Elvia on 9/26/22The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El Paso

It was my first time in my life going to a orchestra show. I liked it, I would love to go back again. I like that many people from different ages went.

    So Moving!

by G. G. on 2/22/22The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El Paso

We had heard both symphonies (5ths) before, but I am truly impressed with the El Paso Symphony Orchestra. Their treatment of every note, every movement, every single beat was simply exhilarating and yet, delicate - we could have stayed the whole night, just listening to such amazing works. My husband calls it "food for the soul". We hope we can get more concerts during the year!

Music = great. Soloist & narration = not. Place was warm!

by BillinElPaso on 12/10/21The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El Paso

Music was great, appreciated most all of the music. Did not care for the female soloist - too campy. Narration wasn’t good and not funny. The venue temperature was too warm in row X.

Not What I Was Originally Expecting

by Alicia on 4/17/19The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El Paso

Honestly it was the first time I had ever heard of this kind of event and I thought it was going to be something like a dj video game mash up which I was okay with too, however what I experienced will change the way I completely look at music in video games completely! This was the best experience ever and I can't wait to see them again next year.

    The Romantics / Zuill Bailey

by R. C. on 1/22/19The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El Paso

I loved it ! The symphony orchestra was outstanding, but Zuill Bailey stole the show with his solo cello performance. I am so delighted to have our awesome symphony orchestra and our world renown cellist living here in El Paso, Texas.

by JackiDani on 8/28/18The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El Paso

This show came to EP years ago and I was able to go. It was so fantastic I checked the event listings constantly to when it would come back and it finally did!! It was even better, more wonderful, and I will be there the next time it comes!! The symphony orchestra is beautiful and Brody Dolyniuk is outstanding! Worth the wait and I’ll be looking forward to going again.

    Queen Tribute

by chonakristi on 8/28/18The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El Paso

Musically the symphony sounded great & the cover “band” was really good. However, I was underwhelmed with their playlist. Patrons are going to see “Queen”, so it would be fun if the lead singer gave a little more effort in his appearance. We thought it was strange that he wore black jeans & a blue jean jacket (buttoned up) for 80% of the show. Secondly, there were a number of hits that weren’t performed, but they opted to play 3 or 4 obscure songs. If it was actually Freddie Mercury, you give him the option of singing something obscure because he’s FREDDIE MERCURY. The cover bands should stick to the hits. Of course, the venue is beautiful - 5 stars! Overall rating - 3.5 stars

A fitting tribute to a great band

by Lennie52 on 8/28/18The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El Paso

The orchestra sounded great as did the group who joined them. This was a lot of fun and a fitting tribute. Nobody can sing like Freddie Mercury, but this was well done.
