Puerto Rico Parade!

High volume often is looked at to compensate for lack of quality. In this case the musicians were good but the volume certainly was too high to be able to appreciate them. 2 minutes into the show some heartthrob singer in leather pants showed up and turned the event into a Puerto Rican Parade. Only Spanish spoken. This was not the way it was advertised and focus on popular Puerto Rican songs took precedence over the musician-ship. Needless to say I walked out after about 30 mins.

I love how they are true to the originality of their songs, not changing so much that it sounds like a different song, like many performers do. Their concert is about the music. No half-naked dancers, fireworks, etc. Just the purity of the music we have come to love after so many years of salsa.

Awesome night with legends

When my siblings couldn't make it, I took their place with my girlfriend and was so glad I went. These legends can still perform and entertained the crowd with audience requests. 2 hours of salsa enjoyment and childhood memories growing up with these Hall of Famers!

He smiled for two hours while he bopped his leg to the rhythms. Salsa dancers couldn't contain themselves and danced in the aisles! That was a treat! Hope to see them again soon!

I was there at Tilles Center to see them last year and I am so happy that I checked the Tilles Center Website and saw that they were going to play there again. I hesitated not to get tickets because the music & the energy is great. I put my salsa steps into practice in the aisle along with other dancers. I hope that the Tilles Center will make it a tradition to have them back year after year,
