    Too many interruptions.

by Dancer5678 on 12/27/13Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

I was very excited to listen to some great music and to enjoy a special Christmas afternoon that I have heard about for many years. Unfortunately the flow of the production was poor with continual interruptions of advertising and requests to give more money. I absolutely support fundraising and believe in the cause but the beginning and end would have been enough. We left at intermission after having heard too many commercials :(.

    Singing Christmas Tree was great.

by Anonymous on 12/27/13Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Excellent show and really helps you into the spirit of Christmas. The show moves along well and presents the traditional Christmas in a modern way which is a joy to the ears. The individual soloists performed well. The tree itself was spectacular and meeting a few of the singers was a highlight for us.

The Singing Christmas tree was outstanding! I had chills throughout the entire performance! It was emotional and traditional with a touch of contemporary!

    There is no Santa?!

by Unhappymama99 on 12/21/11Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Singing was fantastic. However announcing that there is not a Santa at a family event is not cool. I think santas anonymous is wonderful but saying repeatedly that "let's make sure these kids don't find out there is no Santa" iis inappropriate at a family concert. My kids left there confused and freaked out that I could die from cancer. The ten minute monologue about how one of the singers is dying did not make me or my kids feel christmasy. My heart breaks for this young woman but going on and on about it at a family Christmas concert is not cool.

    Singing Christmas tree was great!

by PrettyLady65 on 12/19/11Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

The solos were all very slow. I would have preferred mixed tempo. It was nice to hear music other than the traditional carols and really enjoyed the sing-a-long. Although I understood the message of' loving life', I left feeling very depressed and the spirit of the afternoon was gone when I left..

My husband and I thought the Singing Christmas Tree was absolutely excellent. It is wonderful that all those volunteers give so much to do what is necessary to put on a program of this magnitude. However, we did take our grandson who is 3(will be 4 in Feb.) and he did not enjoy it. Normally, he is very good to sit and enjoy programs that are kid oriented. I do feel you should not advertise as "fun for the whole family". I think it should be "not advisable for children under school age". Even saying this, I looked around from time to time and even some of the older children seemed to be rather disinterested. Otherwise, I would definately come to see it again and would recommend it to all our adult friends!

    The Singing Christmas Tree

by kiikii on 12/18/11the singing christmas tree - Edmonton

This was the first time I had seen this performance and I just have to say it was fabulous. The choir and everyone involved in the production were fantastic. I will see it again next year and of course recommend it to all my family and friends who have never gone . Great job to all and happy holidays. Also i was wondering if there are videos of the performance for sale it would be a great keepsake as well as gift idea.
