Edge Fest 23 was the best time of my life, I crowd surfed and was always up lose to the performers!!! Buy the bracelets or else you can't go to the main stage!!! Food and drinks are expensive and tshirts are like $30 but it's all worth it!!!
The only thing i didnt like was that the 2 stages were seperated. I paid money to see the bigger bands, like Awolnation and Paramore, but all the bigger bands payed on the stage that was seperated. Take the whole wristband idea out and it would probably be a better event!
Edgefest did get off to a slow start for me. Some of the bands were pretty new and have never heard of them. Captial Cities was great and they put on a good show. ush was good too... My main band was Phoenix.. OMG!!! They were unbelievable. I wish they could have played longer. I cannot wait to see who they will have next year...
Robert Delong stole the show for me, I have a feeling that he is going to explode very soon with fame like Porter Robinson did. Other bands were good also. My only complaint was that it took forever to get Phoenix set up but other than that, it was a memorable show as my first Edgefest.
Bush was amazing - should have been the headliner. Paramore, AWOL, Capital cities, I am dynamite and of course BUSH rocked it out!!! Great show. only complaint is the food selections are horrible if you are a vegetarian and non existent for a vegan. Lower your prices on water so people don't pass out!
The only complaints we have about Edgefest were the seats/tickets. Our friends got VIP tickets, and they tickets they thought they signed up for online were not the tickets they received at the venue, and they were not happy campers. Our seats had ticket numbers on them, but it turned out they were standing room in the pit area. The grass field was covered by white, plastic interlockable squares, and after standing for hours on end our legs were weary, and when the sun came out the sunburn factor went way up. The music was great. Bush did mess up one song (the lead singer seemed to lose his way; he was off-key and off the mark, and the audience all looked at one another to see if we were all observing the same thing), but that was the only faux pax of the day (plus the fact that by the end of the concert they were 50 minutes behind schedule).
The event itself was amazing so much music and all soo great$ great sound cool cenue alot if space to accomodate all the people there.
Edgefest was awesome! !! All the bands done an amazing job. My favorite was Atlas Genius and of course BUSH.... omg what a show!!!! Cant wait for next years line up!!!!!!!
The line up sucked. We bought our tickets for Deftones and hoped we could enjoy the rest of the bands but we couldn't. If next years line up is this bad, we won't be attending.
