A popular comedian turned actor who started his career on-stage as a dare, funnyman Eddie Griffin has built an ever-growing fan base since jumping onto the comedy scene in 1990.
His Stand-Up Comedy Specials have received rave reviews including Def Comedy Jam (1992), the Cable Ace Award-nominated HBO special One Night stand (1992), the HBO special Voodoo Child (1997), Dysfunktional Family (2003), Comedy Central's You Can Tell 'Em I Said It (2011), and the Showtime Special Undeniable (2018).
Comedy Central has honored Eddie as one of the Top 100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of all time.
As an actor, Eddie Griffin has appeared in over 50 films such films as The Last Boy Scout (1991), Coneheads (1993), Armageddon (1998), Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo (1999), Norbit (2007), American Hero (2015) Mucho Dinero (2016), and A Star is Born (2018).
His most notable film role was Anton Jackson in Undercover Brother (2002). Eddie was nominated (1996) and won (2000) the NAACP Image Award for Best Actor in his own hit comedy series Malcolm and Eddie (1996-2000).
In 2019 Eddie began shooting the feature film The Comeback Trail alongside actors Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman and Tommy Lee Jones.
Eddie's third SHOWTIME comedy special, Eddie Griffin: E-NIGGMA, premiered on December 6, 2019. Griffin's unapologetic storytelling canvasses his 30-plus year comedy career and offers an intimate glimpse into the 10th year of his nightly Las Vegas residency, The Eddie Griffin Experience at the Sahara Hotel and Casino.

I laughed a couple of times but I was ready to cry laughing. A lot of stuff wasn’t funny it was just him giving random opinions. If you’re going to touch hot topics you gotta make it funny or you’re just douchy. The last part (the thank you’s) was the best part. So.. it was ok.

There was only one glitch that night and it was one of the Trible leaders heckling the artiest during the show and trying to through a drink at him on stage. She was drunk and unruly. That was not cool. If Mr. Griffin would have decided to end the show early because of her, I would have been asking for a refund along with a lot of other fans. I am giving the show a 5 star, but the venue gets a 3 star because of the incident and also the watered down drinks they were serving. I will not being buying drinks from there either.

I was hurting from laughing my self to death! He paid respect to those who are no longer here like Richard Pryor, Prince, and so many more. He imitated them through voice or song, so funny and his singing was so good! I didn't know he could sing. I would go to see him sing in concert!!!!

Good show Too short

However, the show was entirely too short for me. It was supposed to start at 8 PM. It did not start on time and it was only on stage for about an hour. By 10 PM I was walking out of the venue on my way to the food court to get something to eat. For the amount of money that I spent, I felt that I deserve more

My husband and I arrived late but this was an outing for us as we share the same birthday. Eddie Griffin is a great entertainer, and I love the topics he touched on and how he doesn't falter to this new sensitive narrative this country has succumbed to now. I would definitely go to see him again!

He’s drinking during the entire show. Angry about politics, and using derogatory names about candidates. Obsessed with himself as if he’s the best thing since sliced bread. Time I will never get back, but it will NEVER happen again. Save your money
