My hubby and I had such a great time...I definitely recommend
The show was excellent. The opening act Hulk did a fantastic job getting people in the mood and then Eddie came out and killed it. I highly recommend seeing him if you get the chance.
I enjoyed myself! Eddie is a living legend that’s has been funny for 43 years and still has it!! Love his authenticity
he is funny to us , certain things wasn’t too happy. 90% of the time his jokes was funny. He’s great! 👍
Best ever!!!! I laughed so much! I didn’t realize that Eddie could sing!
My wife and I went into Van Andel Arena. We were screened 3 times and found out we were at Brandon Lake event !!!?. Eddie Griffin was across the street.
Show started 15 min late. Been a fan for years but this felt more like history class with the attempt at a joke every 10-15 min. Opening act was good. A good amount of people started leaving early and could hear rumblings as people walked out saying “he tried doing too much.”
The Hard Rock never disappoints! Excellent customer service throughout the night. From ushers to concessions to dining after the show everything went great. EDDIE WAS HILARIOUS!!! I laughed the entire time and was amazed at his impressive talent. Greatly surprised by the singing and impressions of other famous people he did. Even got to shake his hand after the show. He’s a professional at his craft. Definitely a must see IF you aren’t a “pearl necklace clutching” type as it is a very adult show!
I bought front row tickets expecting a great night, but honestly, it turned out to be a horrible experience. The seating situation was by far the worst part — cheap plastic chairs all jammed together, no armrests, barely any legroom. It felt like we were packed in like sardines. To make matters worse, the person on my right was a big guy, and so was the person on my left, so my girl and I were basically squished between them the entire show. We could barely move or breathe comfortably. Then there was the bar — if you can even call it that. They set it up in a hallway, and it took us over 40 minutes just to get two cans of soda and two baby waters. The total? Twenty bucks. Absolutely ridiculous. Even Eddie Griffin himself joked about the venue, saying, “You know your career is over when you’re performing in a place like this.” That says it all. He did his best, and honestly, he was the only highlight of the night. Yeah, he reused some older material, but he still gave a solid performance — he had nothing to do with how bad the overall experience was. The blame falls 100% on MGM Springfield. For what people pay to see these shows, the least they could do is make sure the audience is comfortable and treated right. This whole setup felt cheap and thrown together. Personally, I’ll never go to another event at that venue again. Total disappointment.
He was hilarious, better than I expected. Always wanted to see him and my birthday was on Saturday. Great surprise for me
Ita a casino. With money flowing through there .. they could have given us a better room . With at least arm space. The seats were right on top of each other! Lile eddie said it reminded us of an assembly program in the auditorium in middle school! No air no space ! MGM should have done better or hire a better decorator! Would not spend $240 to come back to Aria ballroom its not worth it !
