    EDH on EFO

by EDH on 1/21/19Birchmere - Alexandria

We loved every minute of Eddie From Ohio’s performance as well as the lead off act of Sara Niemietz & Snuffy Walden. It was an especially moving evening and the music was simply wonderful. We have been fans for 20 years. They are a very special act. We also love attending other performances at the Birchmere.

    Eddie From Ohio

by Bernard on 1/21/19Birchmere - Alexandria

We are already planning to see them when they return to the Birchmere. They are terrific musicians and singers and they immediately connect with the audience. Every song, original material and covers, is enjoyable. The first act was great as well

    Eddie from Ohio never disappoints!

    by Roxy306 on 1/17/18Birchmere - Alexandria

The show was great. Julie has the voice of an angel. They played some songs from Rob’s upcoming musical.

It would have been a 4/5 but.....

Great time, just so much fun. But politics should NOT have been brought up. Bummer.

A much needed fix for us Edheads

by HewenttoParis on 1/17/17Birchmere - Alexandria

Again, EFO amazed. It's hard to imagine how these four musicians + Jake can be so tight and natural with the limited schedule that they have elected to undertake these past few years. I did not think I would ever hear "In Paradise" live - just beautiful, Julie. Also, "Sounds Like Home" was a real treat. Never thought I'd say this but I actually missed the drum solo.

    Always a great show!

by LZCenter on 1/16/17Birchmere - Alexandria

We have enjoyed EFO for over 20 yrs. The Birchmere is a great intimate setting for their performance. You always feel close to the group. I was very happy that Julie chose to perform, In Paradise; a wonderful tribute to a little girl. A very long time ago at the Tin Angel in Philadelphia I asked her to perform it and at the time they weren't doing it. I guess time has eased some of the pain. Thanks Julie!

EFO always pleases. This was an exceptional evening in that it was their 25 anniversary show(s), all request play list and no opening act. Three hours of EFO...fantastic!

    Musical mayhem!

by CarrieSchymanski on 1/18/16Birchmere - Alexandria

I have seen EFO many times in the past 25 years, and I keep going back because every show is unique - the setlist is always amazing, there are always some hilarious inside jokes that appear throughout the night, they're all good storytellers, and I get so inspired to be a part of the music community.

Excellent show! It was my first time seeing this band and they were impressive. The band was very talented. Each person had something to offer, from the powerful voice of te lead singer, to the drummer, and each member working the string instruments! My hat goes off to the band! The opening performer was perfect and I love how he was incorporated into the band during their performance

Great show!! Be sure to catch them the next time they come to town. Look for a summer show at WolfTrap. But don't wait to get your tickets. They sell out fast!

    Awesome EFO

    by Lisad3 on 1/20/15Birchmere - Alexandria

EFO is Amazing. This is one of my favorite shows to see at one of the best venues in the area. Their talent is astounding and the sound is always perfect. My only complaint is that the show must end.

    Eddie from Ohio Returns!!

by SouthShoreGuy on 4/2/14Wilbur Theatre - Boston

It's been 4 years since Eddie from Ohio played in the Boston area. The last time was in the Somerville Theater. Why they've been away I don't know as they always managed to fill that house. This time they were at the Wilbur Theater; a great venue. You could tell that the house was filled with "Ed-Heads" by the rousing welcome that the crowd gave them when they walked on stage. They didn't disappoint. They can go from moving, to funny, to gospel, to any style effortlessly. Beautiful harmonies and great musicianship. The 3 hour show was started by the opening act "Fretful Porcupine"; two guys that were tremendous. Hope it's not another 4 years before Eddie from Ohio returns.

    Brilliant as always

by mpescuma on 4/2/14Wilbur Theatre - Boston

Eddie From Ohio was, as always, amazing. They focused on more of their slower, almost more somber songs with a few upbeat and fast songs sprinkled throughout. They played a couple of cover songs and a couple of new songs as well. Their humor was as great as always, and you can tell they are still having a wonderful time performing. Jake Armerding, as a new member of the group, fit in perfectly, bringing a welcome perspective on some of their older songs.
