Ed put on an amazing show!

by JT6606 on 10/8/15Port City Music Hall - Portland

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Ed Kowalczyk show at the Port City Music Hall in Portland, Maine. We had great seats at the venue in the preferred seating area. We had an amazing view of the stage and the performance. Ed is a fantastic, outgoing, engaging performer. We have always loved his music and his energy. I had the best time at this show and would highly recommend it to anyone that is into this type of music. Thanks so much to Ed and his team for a great show!

Another amazing show by Ed Kowalczyk!!!

by EyedokChad on 5/20/15Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

Absolutely amazing acoustic show again for Ed Kowalczyk!! We've seen Live in concert multiple times and now have seen Ed sing acoustically twice and each time he seems to get better....Cant wait to see him again when he performs locally again! Truly one of the best voices in music over the last 25 years!

    Ed K never disappoints!

by Anonymous on 5/20/15Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

The show was awesome - he played the entire TC album from start to finish and sounded amazing! Played 5 encore songs. Will never miss his show when he comes to town! After the show he came out and took pictures and signed autographs - very personable guy!

    Surprisingly powerful performance

by docsup on 5/20/15Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

I had never seen Live, live. To see Ed perform this album acoustically in a small club like this was incredible. He played and sang these songs with a lot of passion. He's a very energetic and talented musician and front man. If you liked the band Live, this is a must see event.

    Great show!

by Spanky36 on 5/17/15Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra Beach

Took my GF to the show, as she is an avid Live fan. We both had a BLAST! Ed hasn't missed a beat and the sound was amazing. Highly recommended for any fan of the band. Only reason not being *'s is that the drinks were pretty pricey.

    Intimate and top quality music!

by MattVdM on 5/16/15House of Blues Houston - Houston

Great concert, small intimate venue. At some point Ed came of the stage and walked through the crowd. I could actually touch him! I hadn't listened to Live for a while and was reminded of how great the music is.

    Fan for 20 years

    by Gatitan1 on 5/15/15Variety Playhouse - Atlanta

Eddie K never disappoints. Although, I'm not a huge fan of his last two albums I am still a huge fan. I've seen him with and without LIVE probably 20 times. I like the unplugged concept for the Throwing Copper anniversary but it wasn't unplugged. It was electric guitars and his voice which is just fine. I was really surprised at the empty seats at such a small venue. It was a 2 hr concert. Perfect length for a Tue night. His voice was amazing as usual. His guitar partner was really good as well. I'm not familiar with him. Played the entire album Throwing Copper from beginning to end in order and had 6 encores. I would probably have chosen a couple different songs for the encore but it was still good.

What is true talent? Two guitars and a microphone producing an awesome show-Ed Kowalczyk (& Zach) has true talent. The "four" rating is only due to the fact that the show had to end. Thanks for the experience.

It wasn't great. Ed sounded good, but it was a pretty lame show. Expensive for what it was. It was seated, way too mellow, started early with no opener and was a short show that ended early. I would save your money and crank the Throwing Copper cd at home.

Ed is a great frontman with a superb and passionate voice. The show would have been much more enjoyable if he hadn't forgotten to bring his band with him.

    Live karaoke

by collapser on 5/13/15Variety Playhouse - Atlanta

I've been a fan of Live since Mental Jewelry came out, but my favorite album of theirs has always been Throwing Copper. So when I saw that Ed Kowalczyk was going to be playing the entire album start to finish I jumped at the chance to buy tickets. Unfortunately, the performance was akin to watching Ed do karaoke. Sure, he played acoustic guitar and there was another guitarist there to play the lead parts, but there was no bass player, nor was there a drummer, just some super, super lame Casio keyboard drum loops. I can't decide whether the decision to perform a rock album in this way was greed or laziness. My guess is that it was probably a good bit of both. Ed's voice is still amazing, but this was a truly terrible way to pay tribute to a great album. It is time for Ed and his former bandmates to bury the hatchet and reunite. If they can't do that, it's time to retire.

    Ed Kowalczyk was great!

by LovedTheCircus7 on 5/13/15House of Blues Houston - Houston

The intimate venue was a great place to see Ed. I first saw him with Live in 1992 and have been in love ever since. His solo show did not disappoint.

    Ed Kowalczyk was amazing!!

by rileyroo on 5/13/15House of Blues Houston - Houston

This acoustic show was sold out and packed full! Ed played without full band but had guitarist Zak Loy who blew me away with his talent! Ed is like a steak, the longer he is in the marinade of his musical genius...the better he tastes!! Great show!!!
