About

What do you do when you grow up with three musically gifted siblings? Start a band, of course. That's what L.A. vocalist Sydney Sierota did with her brothers Jamie (guitar/vocals), Noah (bass/vocals) and Graham (drums). In a short amount of time, Echosmith has brought its dance-y, starry-eyed anthems, like the summer hit "Cool Kids," from the Sierota home to the American public, opening for acts including Owl City and twenty I one I pilots. And even if you don't recognize their name, you might have heard their song "Come Together" featured in commercials for the 2012 Summer Olympics. Just goes to show, the kids are taking over and we hardly even know it's happening. Their debut album, Talking Dreams, is out now.

  • Fantastic

by j26mac on 10/24/22Paradise Rock Club presented by Citizens - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

All the bands put on a terrific show!!! High energy, engaging and fun!!!!! I met all the members of all the bands either before, after or both. They were all very friendly and some (Sydney and Avery) were very talkative and personable. Just so great and refreshing to see they are amazingly talented and overall fantastic people!!!!

  • Good audience connection

by Blair Johnson on 10/20/22Gramercy Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

I just went to the show to have something to do. If I had known that their claim to fame was the Cool Kids song I probably wouldn't have gone unironically. There is so much internal conflict inside me as I write this I just don't know what to say. I am an unknown singer-songwriter who lives down the block from a trendy tattoo shop. I have a personal intimacy with "annoying", and therefore can definitively say the singer was mostly not annoying. I say "mostly" because such a term is at the intersection of snarkiness and truth, which is why my five stars have a deeper meaning than your typical five stars. The drummer was by far the coolest of the three, but this was likely intentional and a homage to the Beatles.

  • Lovely night…..great songs and the staff was so gentle.

  • Wonderful

by Gissell on 10/19/22Rating: 5 out of 5

Went to their concert Oct 17 ‘22 and had a blast. They’re an amazing band and actually take the time to interact with their fans during the show . Overall they’re amazing and I can’t wait for the next time they’ll be in New York… you can bet I’ll be buying VIP then

  • Opener, Weathers, 5 stars!!!

    by A. on 3/4/20Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 3 out of 5

Absolutely loved Weathers, who opened for Echosmith. Can’t wait to see them again soon!

  • Small interesting crowd

    by K on 3/4/20Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Great show! Very diverse crowd! All age groups were there, and everyone seemed to enjoy all the performers!!

  • Disappointing except for Weathers

by Musical on 3/4/20Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 2 out of 5

We first found Echosmith on Paste Studios where they presented an acoustic version of their songs. This was an excellent showcase for Sydney's voice and their harmonies which are their strength. The concert version was extremely overproduced and morphed them into something that sounded exactly like every other pop singer. None of their unique qualities remained. We didn't stay for their entire performance. One of the opening acts, Weathers, was fantastic and now we've gone and bought some of their music we enjoyed that part of the concert greatly.

  • Best Concert Experience

by Curt on 2/20/20Mod Club - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Openers were great, Echosmith was amazing! Crowd was all enjoying themselves, talked to many people at the show between acts and after the show. I actually got to meet Sydney after the show which was completely a surprise! Best concert I've gone to, will go again if they come near me again

  • Amazing Intimate Show

    by Callum W. on 2/20/20Mod Club - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I was very impressed with the show Echosmith put on. It's rare to find a band that sounds just as good live as they do on their CDs and Echosmith definitely delivered on that front. The show itself was very minimal from an effects perspective but they brought fantastic energy and crowd engagement. Great show!

  • Amazing Sound, Amazing Show

by Rob in Boston on 2/18/20Paradise Rock Club presented by Citizens Bank - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

I took my 14-year-old daughter and her friend to Echosmith at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston. It's a cozy venue with a balcony. Holds probably 300 at most. Echosmith blew the place out. They create an amazing sound, and in that venue, it was perfection. Flawless presentation, incredible energy, and the band interacts with the crowd constantly -- shaking hands, flashing smiles, chatting you up, letting you know they know and appreciate that you are there. And their music is fantastic. Bravo! They have been on my daughter's "must-see list" since she was ten, and they gave her the experience of a lifetime. See them!

  • Good show, venue lacking

by BPA on 2/17/20Paradise Rock Club presented by Citizens Bank - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

All the music was good, but there is no where to sit, and the venue's sound system was distorted. The engineers got the sound all wrong for Echosmith, the vocals (why you would go to see Echosmith) were drowned out

  • Lonely Generation Tour Experience

by Adam89 on 2/17/20Paradise Rock Club presented by Citizens Bank - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

They absolutely killed it! They sang Most of the songs off their new album and then a few classics from earlier in their career. They engaged with the audience and made everyone, from the front to the back, feel included. I would definitely recommend going when they come to a city near you.

  • Openers blow away headliners.

by Patti on 2/17/20Paradise Rock Club presented by Citizens Bank - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

Quite honestly, we went for the opening act "WEATHERS". The energy level for this band was absolutely amazing. They squeezed so much music into a short set. You could feel the electricity in the air. They won over the crowd very quickly. People were talking about how fantastic they were in-between sets. The headliners came out - and while they were ok, the energy level in the room dropped drastically. Quite honestly they were a bit on the boring side. The singer, Sydney, has a great voice. Her brothers and friend are talented musicians. BUT - they weren't able to bring the room back to the same level of energy as their openers had. We would have left shortly into the set if Weathers didn't stay to sign and take pictures after the show. All in all I gave this show 3 stars because WEATHERS was utterly fantastic (and would have gotten 5 stars) but should have been the headliners. During Echosmith I found my mind wandering and thinking about what I had to do the next day. So - 5* for Weathers, 2* for Echosmith - I would love to do 3.5*

  • Enjoyable Evening of Pleasant Music

by Whiny McGee on 2/17/20Paradise Rock Club presented by Citizens Bank - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

There was a broad spectrum of people who attended the show at the Paradise on Valentine's Day, from elderly couples to special needs kids, which I suppose is a testament to Echosmith's appeal. The band didn't come on until around 9:30pm after two opening acts (the second of which, Weathers, was very lively and may have been a draw for some of the crowd based on their reaction). Echosmith did a great job, playing their big hits and introducing some great cuts from their latest album. I wish that the venue hadn't cordoned off half of the upper section - I do realize that it wasn't a full house, but having that section available would have been nice for patrons who wanted a better view of the show.

  • Amazing concert

by I. R. on 2/17/20Paradise Rock Club presented by Citizens Bank - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

The venue is perfect only finding a parking spot is a huge problem. The best thing is how close you can stay from the artist.

  • The Score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing - the locale was a little seedy but the show was great -

  • Echosmith was excellent!!!

They are so kind and fun to talk to! Some of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. They put on an awesome show and sound even better live.

  • Echosmith was fantastic!

    by Craigmc91 on 4/22/18Newport Music Hall - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

Echosmith put on nothing short of an incredible show! They have great stage presence, and they definitely know how to work a crowd. Let me mention that they have great dance moves as well! Sydney, Noah and the guitarist (can’t remember his name) know how to shuffle their feet! I also had the opportunity to meet them beforehand, and they were quite friendly! So yes, all being said, I would love to see them again. This was my first time seeing them and it definitely won’t be my last!
