    Easy Rider Live (Plus)

by Tommy L. on 9/24/19Radio City Music Hall - New York

What a great show! The play between the remastered movie and the live performances was excellent. John Kay was in fine voice and what a treat to hear Magic Carpet Ride at the end of the show. The dude paying lead guitar did a righteous job on the Hendrix number. We arrived early and had tickets on the 3rd floor mezzanine. When we arrived upstairs one of the event staff asked if we would like a comp upgrade to orchetra seats. What an unexpected surprise! Had great seats, thank you very much. Hadn't been to Radio City since we took our kids to the Christmas show with the Rockettes many years ago. Truly a landmark venue as always. On to the next show.

    WHAT A BLAST!!!

by S. on 9/24/19Radio City Music Hall - New York

Perfect venue and movie for this intense experience. The musicians were excellent, the timing was spot on, kudos to the projectionist and the whole crew for a seamless performance. John Kay and Roger McQuinn still rocking it as good as ever, thanks for being a part of it. Peter you did good, God bless.

    50 Years & Soaring/The Live Concert Movie was Spectacular💫

by Nightowl on 9/23/19Radio City Music Hall - New York

Was wonderful to hear the idea behind the Live Concert of the 50 Year Anniversary screening of the Movie Easy Rider - fantastic to see Peter Fonda’s wife but so sorry he passed away so close to the actual event😢and unable to attend in person because the event was a dream event💫Seeing the Movie again as a tribute on it’s anniversary with original Recording Artist in Concert was a thrill of a life time!

    Once in a Lifetime Experience!

by T. R. on 9/23/19Radio City Music Hall - New York

What a great idea, in a fantastic venue (Radio City Music Hall), providing an unbelievable night of music with great nostalgic and classic songs that many of us never thought we'd ever hear live, joined with one of the most iconic movies of all time! The only sad thing was that Peter Fonda didn't live to see his dream come true - but the rest of his team put on a magical show and everyone was ecstatic with the result! To hear Steppenwolf's John Kay and Roger McGuinn's and so many others' most famous songs LIVE with an amazing band that accompanied this groundbreaking movie on the world's largest LED screen was just out of this world cool! It just flowed all so well. I hope they take this show on the road. Captain America lives on 50 years later!!!!

    History

by Louie on 9/23/19Radio City Music Hall - New York

watching this event was a once in a lifetime experience The concept was nothing like I seen ever And I seen many shows in my life What made it so important was the impact this movie had on our culture and that we lost the writer and star Peter Fonda who’s wife was in attendance. This show was planes by Peter and a gift to us all . It was so cool seeing John Key perform 😎✌️

    Time Travel

by Squint on 9/23/19Radio City Music Hall - New York

A great evening. Hearing the story as to how the event was conceived perfectly set the stage. The film is a classic. When I saw it 50 years ago It was the turning point. Interesting to see how thing turned out. The musicians were tight and proved that they still had it. I enjoyed it at 15 and even more at 65. Hope they filmed it so more people can enjoy this.

    Great Show

by Izzy on 9/23/19Radio City Music Hall - New York

This show was fantastic. What a concept: a newly remastered copy of the classic film showing on a large LED screen above the stage, with full extended versions of the soundtrack (originally the total music in the film ran abiut 2 minutes) played on stage by original artists John Kaye of Steppenwolf snd Roger Mc Guinn, plus others. They made sure not to let the music interfere with the film, by pausing the film to allow time for the music. And to uplift the crowd after the films tragic ending, Kaye came back on stsge to plsy Magic Carpet Ride. This was a great show!!

    Amazing night

by LMR on 9/23/19Radio City Music Hall - New York

This was an incredible night merging 2 of my favorite art forms - live music and film. I would absolutely love it if you produced more of these nights, so my friends who missed out could experience classic films with a live score.

    Amazing

by Nic on 9/23/19Radio City Music Hall - New York

The Easy Rider Live experience was amazing . Peter Fonda's plan, realized ! The moving, prerecorded introduction by the man himself should be included in every showing and dvd from here on in. John Kay hasnt lost a step and Roger McGuinn was, as alaways, a delight. A crack band played behind all the acts and did the songs by the artists not around anymore amazingly well. Overall, it was as memorable as the first time I saw the film the day it was released.
