Born and raised in rural Gilchrist County, FL, Easton Corbin remembered wanting to be a country singer as early as three or four years old. He spent a good deal of time at his grandparents’ cattle farm following his parents’ divorce, and aside from helping on the farm and being active in the local FFA and 4-H chapters, Corbin fell in love with the various Opry television shows that aired on Saturday nights. He also spent time exploring his grandfather’s record collection, which included several titles left behind by his father and his aunts. Corbin began taking guitar lessons at the age of 15, turning to his mentor, former Nashville session guitarist Pee Wee Melton, for instruction. Soon, he was playing lead guitar in a local band while also honing a solo act. A fortunate audition at a local music store led to a solo spot on-stage at the nearby Suwannee River Jam festival, and soon he was securing opening slots for national acts like Janie Fricke and Mel McDaniel.
After earning a business degree from the College of Agriculture at the University of Florida, Corbin married and moved to Nashville in 2006 to try his hand at becoming a professional country singer. He caught the ears of booking agent James Yelich and Universal Music Group Nashville’s Senior Director of A&R, Joe Fisher, who immediately signed Corbin to the group’s Mercury Nashville imprint in 2009. Working with producer Carson Chamberlain, he released his debut single, "A Little More Country Than That," in July of that same year, following it with a four-song EP under the same title a month later. Both releases led up to the arrival of his full-length debut, Easton Corbin, in 2010. ~ Steve Leggett, Rovi
Even in the rain it was a fun show! Grabbed a beer and had a great time
The energy that Easton Corbin brought to the Yucaipa Performing Arts Center in SoCal Thursday made us all forget about how hard the rain was coming down throughout the night! We danced, sang along and we were loud - no amount of rain would keep us from enjoying this awesome performance. Thank you Easton and Yucaipa!
It was such a nice venue and it had great space, I didn’t feel like I was touching anyone or it was too overcrowded. Everyone was so friendly all the staff was so helpful. The stage was great and all the film on the screen was so clear and I felt like everywhere I went I could see the stage!
Since this was an outdoor event, it should not be rain or shine. It was pouring rain and spite the rain many of us stayed to enjoy the music. I understood he was going to perform from 8-10, it was over and we were in the car by 9:20.
I was there to see John Conlee, so as soon as he finished i left. John Conlee was great as always. Sang all the classics.
Great event! except bought a parking pass only to know it was free parking!
There were only two things wrong when the concert was supposed to start at 5:30 and then it started closer to 715 and the tables were set up facing away from the stage instead of when you looked on the app at the stage besides that the night was phenomenal, All of the country singers were fantastic was a great evening the crowd was great the music was great would love to do it again
Had never been to his show before and was impressed. Would definitely see him again.
Good acoustics; slightly above average bar selection; small-ish venue size lends to not parking miles away and then walking or riding a shuttle. Stage feels personal, although not undersized.
Really enjoyed the show. I thought they were very entertaining.
The venue was great for this event. Gunner & the Grizzly Boys really rocked out the country music. Loved them. Easton was more traditional country but was good.
Liked the songs he sang, vocals were good. Overall a good experience.
One of the best concert i have attended, he was so involved w/all his audience in every way.
Good concert would have liked it to be longer than the 60 minutes he played. got the crowd involved and he plays good music
Easton is a great performer!! Put on a great show that I will be back too
No experience. Concert was canceled last minute and we had to cancel all travel plans. We weren’t given a reason for why it was canceled, yet the show the night before went on. That being said, I hope everyone is well if there was a personal reason to cancel.
All the staff from security to the merchandise vendors and drink vendors were extremely nice and helpful. All three bands were good, Easton Corbin was amazing!!! Definitely plan to go back to Temple live to see other concerts.
Easton Corbin is an amazing entertainer. Real Deal. No gimmicks. Thoroughly enjoyed the entire show.
Easton Corbin put on a great concert! Both opening bands were also really good.
We paid for good seats but were unable to see most of the show because the folks who were seated in the back all ran to the front of the stage. There must have been 6 rows of people up there. I will not pay to see another concert at this venue because of this.
