EarthGang on Tour

An EarthGang show is a mix of rowdy energy and intimate lyrical displays. Taking inspiration from rock bands, EarthGang have an explosive live presence, and it's honed by years of hard touring. The band opened Ab-Soul's massive These Days tour in 2014, Mac Miller's GO:OD AM tour in 2015, Bas' Too High to Riot tour in 2016 and the European leg of J. Cole's 4 Your Eyez Only tour in 2017. At the end of that year, EarthGang headlined their own Never Had Sh!t tour with J.I.D, hitting Europe the following year. In 2018, EarthGang opened the second leg of emerging superstar Billie Eilish's 1 By 1 tour. EarthGang launched their own What on Earth tour across Europe followed by a 2019 North American trek to support their major-label debut, Mirrorland.

EarthGang in Concert

Hip-hop duo EarthGang combine the dizzying rhymes and off-kilter beats of 1990s Southern rap with the youthful energy and tireless grind of contemporary Atlanta. Rappers Johnny Venus and Doctur Dot met in high school in Atlanta, and recorded their debut mixtape — 2010's The Better Party — while attending the historically black college Hampton University. Their 2013 self-released full-length Shallow Graves for Toys was the first release to bear the name of their collective Spillage Village, which has also produced hip-hop hitmakers like 6lack and fellow Dreamville Records signees J.I.D and Lute. The album's success found the group working with rappers like Mac Miller, OG Maco and J. Cole. In 2017, the group signed to Cole's Dreamville Records and released three EPs executive-produced by the rapper — 2017's Rags and Robots alongside 2018's Royalty. On the three releases, the group was joined by Mick Jenkins, SiR, Childish Major, Ari Lennox and more. In 2019, the duo's major-label debut Mirrorland landed in the Top 40 and features performances from Young Thug, T-Pain, Kehlani and more.

A Real Experience For Any Fan of Hip Hop

by Christian on 2/9/20Saint Andrews Hall - Detroit

The Small Venue made a perfect atmosphere for the EarthGangs extremely high energy upbeat performance which was paired excellently with a light show that could match the grandesque of an indoor rave. Most importantly, their clarity of voice and overall quality of sound was more than above average (7.5/10). However, their personal charisma was the key defining feature for their performance, Earthgang does it all: yelling, screaming, jumping, moshing, dancing, you name it. It doesn't end there either, Their constant banter and encouragement for participation from/with the crowd is what really puts them over the edge and seperates them from other HipHop/Rap/R&B concert. Crowd chants, sing alongs, repeat after me's, throwing up lighters/phone lights/peace signs/middle fingers, mosh pits, and even a dance contest kept the crowd on their toes as well as involved and excitedly energetic for the entire performance. In Summary: The performance aspect of the concert was so great that any young person with a taste for rap music and an upbeat environment would have an experience to remember. If you didn't know Earthgang going into the show, without a doubt you would come out as an enthusiastic fan.

by GORILLAINY on 2/8/20Varsity Theater - Minneapolis

I went to this concert only knowing a couple songs by them. I bought the meet n greet and they were very nice, when it came to the show they absolutely brought the energy. The crowd was fantastic, very nice all around. Earthgang performed for a few hours and had the crowd going insane. A must see just for the atmosphere alone

    WE. ARE. EARTHGANG.

by tommy on 2/4/20House of Blues Chicago presented by Cricket Wireless - Chicago

I felt my soul exit my mortal vessel as Earthgang warmed up into their first song of the set and it still hasn't rested. My god. There are good concerts, there are great concerts, and then there's an Earthgang concert. These men are truly masters of performance and the entire House of Blues became their playground. I go to a fair amount of concerts, and this is absolutely one of the best I have ever attended. Thank you, House of Blues and thank you Earthgang. Please give me my soul back.

    Excellent music, awful sight lines

by K. on 2/3/20House of Blues Chicago presented by Cricket Wireless - Chicago

To be crystal clear, Earthgang was incredible. The opening acts also exceeded expectations. I realize there’s little to be done about this, but it was next to impossible to see the stage at the House of Blues. Unless I can snag a box seat, I probably won’t buy another ticket for a concert here.

    Dope experience

by Rico on 1/30/20The Fillmore - San Francisco

Took my best friend to the concert as a gift and we had the best time ever. The opening artist up until the last performance was amazing. Out of the couple concerts I’ve been to this was my favorite. The venue was nice and it was dope seeing artists that I look up to.
