Everything was great aside from the fact that my team lost the game. Everything was centrally located in the downtown. Great dining and bars close by for after the game. I reserved a valet parking spot which I highly recommend. If you are interested in this, reserve your spot early. The price on game day was more than triple the price that I paid. We had a group of six and had a great day in downtown Charlotte!
Good tickets, great stadium experience. Fan zone had a good band revving up the crowd.
The entire experience of the Bowl Game was great! The security screeners could not have been worse. I have used the same NFL clear bag for two seasons of college events. I had to empty the entire contents of my CLEAR bag so that the screener could see that there was nothing in the pocket of my hoodie. We stood in line for an hour with every requisite thing taken care of, only to have it take longer because of having my hoodie inside the clear bag. Seriously?
the belk bowl did a great job and the game was well attended. but south carolina forgot to show up, especially the offense.
My son and I really enjoy college football and like watching the Belk Bowl at Bank of America Stadium. This year's game was really entertaining. No better place to watch the game from the Club Level, as you can go inside and get out of the elements whenever you want.
The bowl game was awesome!! The extended wait to check in when the weather was extremely cold and the confusion created by some of the staff at the entrance about when and how to check bags was frustrating; however, once inside, the atmosphere was generally good. The stadium concession stands were excellent and the food was great.
This years game was insane. Arkansas leads 24 to 0 at half and Hokie fans are reeling. Then Hokies find a way to score 35 in second half and win! Stadium was very convenient to many Hotels and Bars making it a walkable experience. Wonderful atmosphere and friendly city. of Charlotte..
The game was great because I saw my school mount the biggest comeback in school history, but the tickets obviously priced many fans out of the game. The Belk Bowl prides themselves on being a bowl that applied to be a New Years Six Bowl, but the most entertaining thing to do around the stadium was to go to a restaurant, get food, and watch other bowls finish up. Then, inside the stadium, the atmosphere was something that two proud fan bases were not used to: a stadium that did not even reach half capacity. This bowl pulls from two conferences chock full of great fan bases that, for the most part, are not far away from Charlotte; this game should be packed and vendors should be lining up to provide pregame festivities outside of the stadium. On another note, having Tim McGraw was great, but showing his concert all over the city on screens did not incentivize him to put on a great show for those actually in the stadium. I think the Belk Bowl can be vastly improved by not pricing families and students out of the game and expanding the area around the stadium that has pregame events; price needs to go down, value needs to go up, or both.
The Belk Bowl was incredible - perfect day! I have been to a few bowl games and the Belk Bowl is now my favorite.
The Belk Bowl was a great game! Even though my team lost! We will be back again!
This was our first trip to a college football bowl game. We got to see part of the Tim McGraw concert as well.
Enjoyed the game, too many commercials on jumbo screen, not enough replays
The fanfest and concert and other activities for fans were great and organized very well and easy to get too. Tickets were relatively reasonable. The only negatives was the process to get tickets for the concert and parking which is a challenge with any very large event.
Great time! Great seats! Go hogs!! The employees and staff we AWESOME. Everyone was so friendly and helpful when we needed anything. They even had shuttles back and forth to our cars. We also went to the Music City bowl in Nashville. This was 100s times better. From the stadium, to the people, to the city itself. The people are awesome! No comparison between the two bowl games. If you had to choose one, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO.
After a dismal first half the Hokies turned it around like never before. Stadium is well laid out and everyone working there was so friendly.
Ticketmaster was very helpful and accomadating!! We ended up needing to switch seats prior to the game, and the representatives at Ticket Master helped us to do so!
The game was good. The stadium is nice. The game was colder than we expected so plan on it being a cold game.
Great Game and even better that Virginia tech got the win
Tim McGraw was amazing and VT was unbelievable. 2ND BELK BOWL we have attended
