i'm not jazz aficionado but i was moved by the performances. stan kenton's cuban jazz was just lively and duke ellington, well, they were just all around amazing! the show was over two hours long and the time just flew. the highlight was brian mcknight! the guy was hilarious, who knew he had a big sense of humor :)

Rating: 4 out of 5 Quite enjoyable afternoon!
by BJT1 on 5/24/11Paramount Theatre - AuroraThe afternoon concert was very enjoyable. I would recommend it to a friend that also likes Duke Ellington or Jazz type music. The group provided a varied selection of instrumental pieces from the Duke Ellington Collection. We did dinner afterward and made it a special day out. Thanks for an enjoyable day without traveling down to the city.!
