DUKE DUMONT IN CONCERT:

Grammy-nominated British DJ and producer Duke Dumont is a master of anthemic deep house tracks that combine soulful vocals and irresistible beats. At his live sets Dumont spins a booty-shaking mix of original tracks, remixes, and rare bootlegs, conjuring up an intoxicating vibe that can make even the largest arena feel like an intimate dance club full of your best friends. Dumont has been a staple on both the dance charts and the club circuit ever since his banger “Need U (100%)” first blew up in 2013, and it’s easy to see why crowds love him as he mans the decks at his euphoric live shows. Whether he’s dropping in a remix of AlunaGeorge or getting adrenaline pumping with originals like “Won’t Look Back”, Dumont always keeps the energy high, the inhibitions low, and the beats flowing at his unforgettable live performances.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Duke Dumont, aka Adam George Dyment, was born in 1982 in the London suburb of Harrow. Under the mentorship of famed producer Switch, Dumont cut his teeth in the mid-‘00s remixing pop songs by artists like Lily Allen and Bat for Lashes. In 2007 he released his debut EP Regality, following up a year later with The Dominion Dubs EP. After releasing a mix in 2010 for legendary London nightclub Fabric, Dumont relocated to the countryside to focus on original material. The move paid off – in 2013 he topped the UK Singles Chart with his official debut single “Need U (100%). His sophomore single “I Got U” also reached No. 1 in the UK, leading to extensive touring and eventually earning him a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording. Dumont has been on fire ever since, blowing minds on tour with his epic sets and blowing up the charts with tracks like “Won’t Look Back” (2014) and “The Giver (Reprise)”.

    Upset fan

by Mike on 5/31/22The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - Scottsdale

Duke underperformed compared to previous shows. He seemed uninterested in the fans and he ended the show 30 min early. Highly disappointed and won’t be going to a duke dumont show ever again.

    Duke is always awesome

by Haylee on 5/31/22The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - Scottsdale

Duke dumont is always awesome seeing. I love that he plays mostly his own tunes. I was disappointed at the fact it ended at 930 when the website says 10. Also, the drink lines and people waiting in them were ridiculous. Sound was super distorted coming off the speakers. Please fix this.

    Boring

by Dca on 12/6/21Echostage - Washington

Duke was good but only came on for a few moments. Before and after the show was the same dj: and she played the same baseline for hours. And it wasn’t good. Boring

    Great show

by Geo Go on 9/22/21Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - Chicago

First time ever seeing Duke Dumont and definitely not the last! Great sound and light show too. I personally love the Aragon because I'm very familiar with this place and I have attended many great shows there. The bar tender were nice but they definitely need more staff there. Overall great night, great show, great memories.

The show was great, crowd was fun. I was a little skeeved that no one was checking vaccine status at the door like the email had informed us they would be. I hope I don't get a breakthrough infection!

Duke dumont gave a great performance

by Anonymous on 10/25/15Terminal 5 - New York

It was a great performance by Duke Dumont. The music was great and the visual effect was right there with it. However, I wish he played a little longer for the time we had to wait for him.. He had a short performance. Thus, overall the show was great.

    Ended way to soon

by akihih on 10/13/15Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

His set ended way to soon. I first say him at Nocturnal and he was amazing. Not sure what happened this time but I was not happy over all.

    Duke Dumont was forgettable

by MDpapaya on 10/12/15Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

As a huge fan of Duke Dumont, I was unfortunately very dissapointed in his performance Friday night. Earlier this year I saw him at coachella and his performance was amazing, but this one was extremely lackluster; he had horrible energy, the effects were extremely sub par, he showed up late and only played for 45 minutes. When fans are dropping their hard earned money to see Duke Dumont, it's pretty unfair to his fans that he would play such a short set, while the openers played a lot longer than him and gave a better performance.
