Chicago! was the best musical that we have seen at the Drury Lane. Moreover, it is the best presentation of Chicago! that we have seen (which includes the movie and also 5 versions of the play, including the downtown original Chicago version). Congrats, Drury Lane!
My wife and I loved the show and certainly would recommend to anyone who loves theatre! We also enjoyed the dinner before the show as well! Great food, service and atmosphere!

Upon entering this theater, you realize what a stunningly beautiful theater Drury Lane is, then the show began, and it was AMAZING from start to finish. All of the actors/actresses/dancers were so talented and held our attention at every turn. We would definitely recommend to anyone who loves musical theater/shows.
Chicago was an amazing show. I loved everything about it, the music, the dancing, it was funny, it was sad. I highly recommend seeing this show. I enjoyed a wonderful evening!!
We loved the musical Chicago at the beautiful and quaint Drury Lane Theatre. Whenever we are in Chicago we always try to go to a show! This performance was outstanding and the performers voices so strong and beautiful.
Dont miss this show..all strong characters who are totally engaged with audience.

I was very surprised at how excellent this production was. It was amazing. Almost every cast member was excellent, from back up dancers and singers to all the leads. Both lead women were fabulous. Their acting, dancing and singing was amazing. I would heartily recommend this production, and may even go back to see it again. Only negative comments: Just two small minor items. The Ms. Sunshine character was a little distracting and Roxy Heart's bob hairdo looked more like 1970's Bonnie Franklin than 1920's.
Parking was a real problem, though. B/c of Mother's Day Brunch in the ballrooms, there was no parking left for the 3pm play. No valet, and it took 20 minutes just to get into the Drury Lane lot from the street! At least they delayed start of the play for 15 minutes to allow us all to kind of get settled. The play was much better than we expected! The performers could REALLY sing, and the play as a whole was awesome. Scenery could have been a little better, but we loved the use of the up-and-down square in the floor! Overall, except for the crowds, a great way to spend Mother's Day!
Got last minute tickets for Mother's Day and scored front row center. It was in front of the orchestra pit, but that wasn't distracting like I thought it may have been. Our necks were craned looking at the stage suspended from the ceiling, but the play itself was good. The singing and dancing were very good, and it was an enjoyable performance.

I've seen this show done in downtown Chicago, and this performance was equal in quality to that one. Excellent performers, outstanding musicians in the pit, great staging and lighting, and quality, well-balanced sound. In short, everything about the show was top-notch, and we had a great time!
This is one of my favorite plays and I was not disappointed at all. The cast was fantastic and their voices were exceptional. It was a fun, lively play from beginning to end. I would highly recommend this play. I am so glad it came to Drury Lane. It's a wonderful theater..not a bad seat in the house. The play is quite affordable and well worth seeing. Loved it!!!
Very entertaining and funnier than expected! I already saw the movie version but this musical production was lively and cast obviously loved their roles, making the songs and dances take on a new life, filled with gusto! Great show!
Oh my gosh I don't have anything bad to say. We did the 1:30 show and the lunch. The food was excellent and the theatre gorgeous The cast from the musical Chicago your amazing. Thank you so much.
We had seen the movie several times and this was as close as you could possibly follow it in storyline. All of the scenes were done exceptionally well.
This new production shines! It's a show that has some much-needed new takes on the dance numbers, and keeps the feel of the '20s throughout. Highly recommended!
