was a very fun show! the venue itself is a little barren, but the sound and stage was all very nice. All the bands put on a good show and was very fun!

  • Amazing

by Billy on 4/13/22The Masquerade - Heaven - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

From the guitar solos to the giant talking dragon everything about this concert was insanely fun. They used confetti, sparklers and streamers to truly make it feel like a party. They even made jokes and had a good time. Dragonforce was out there having a good time with it and it showed.

  • Best experience of my life

by Tim on 4/13/22The Masquerade - Heaven - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

My friends and I had a great time! The mosh pit formed in front of us, I got ran into, elbowed, hit, knocked over, it was great! Dragonforce and their accompanying bands were phenomenal! I’m so glad I got to hear them play live!

  • Awesome Experience!

by Carter on 4/13/22The Masquerade - Heaven - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Definitely not a bad start for a first actual show. Venue was great and roomy, absolutely did not feel crowded even though it was packed. The actual show was fantastic! Dragonforce killed it and the crowd interactions were great. Not a single slow moment, it was always energetic and kept you locked in. Cannot wait for them to come back to ATL

  • Excellent show

by under indictment on 4/11/22Roxian Theatre - PittsburghRating: 5 out of 5

I really liked all the bands. Each one was exceptional. It was a good fun show. The bands were great and the guest appearances by other band members was really neat and made a good vibe. The playing and especially shredding was top notch as well as the great original music. I am now a Firewind and Seven Spires fan as well as Dragonforce

  • VIP lounge is worth

by Craig on 4/11/22Roxian Theatre - PittsburghRating: 5 out of 5

To NOT spend the money on VIP lounge is foolish. Viewed the concert from a comfortable table not a stadium seat...

  • Such a great show

by Cody on 4/11/22Roxian Theatre - PittsburghRating: 4 out of 5

DragonForce of course were great, but the first opening band, Seven Spires, absolutely blew me away. The venue is pretty nice for a small place and is generally well laid out except for the bathrooms. It's a bit odd and at times a minor annoyance to have to go almost out the front doors, around the corner and down the stairs. Overall though I'd recommend the Roxian and will definitely be back as long as they keep getting good acts to play.

  • Amazing Show!!

by Mary on 4/11/22Baltimore Soundstage - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

I might be a little biased, because I've been an avid fan of DragonForce for nearly 20 years. However, this show was absolutely wonderful! They perfectly blended their older songs (for us older fans) with songs from their later albums, and had just the right amount of audience participation. The openers were perfect for them, too. Seven Spires opened, setting the tone for the power metal and getting everyone pumped up for the show. Then Visions of Atlantis came on in full pirate regalia, setting the fantasy tone. Firewind came on with upbeat numbers to get everyone pumped for DragonForce, and then DragonForce brought the effects and the main show. It was an amazing night!

  • No refund

by Disappointed on 4/11/22Roxian Theatre - PittsburghRating: 1 out of 5

The band we bought tickets to see, Battlebeast dropped off, so we werent offered a refund

  • Face melting solos

    by ConcertGuy462 on 4/11/22Roxian Theatre - PittsburghRating: 4 out of 5

This venue is a great place to see a band from the size to the acoustics. These bands were super high energy with blaring guitars and hard hitting drums. Super fun experience.

  • Better than I had hoped

by SlyElephant on 4/11/22Roxian Theatre - PittsburghRating: 4 out of 5

The concert was good. I had only come for Dragonforce and they didn't let me down, but I was shocked to find out that I liked the first band Seven Spires as much as I did. They are not ususally my aesthetic, but I think they were probably the most unique in terms of music there if you were to compare them all. I bought their Gods of Debauchery album on Vinyl simply because I liked them. The singer also has a set of pipes on her. I respect the range of the musical style there. Seriously go check them out. They are unique on this tour. I only wish they were by their Merch stand after the show. I would've liked to get it signed. Oh and it seems like the lady running the Merch stand was in one of their music videos. I have no idea who she is but I just thought that was really cool. Firewind was probably the most polished of the other bands there and the drummer beat his drums like they owed him money. He was really good.-(like on time and doing a trick between each beat good) I think he was the most fun to watch on stage with that band. I was blown away with how much fun I had with them. I had a dopamine overload by the time Dragonforce rolled around. It was hard to enjoy them by then because I was so stimulated. I had recovered by the last few songs though. I don't think Visions of Atlantis was bad, but they weren't entirely my thing. I was just never a huge pirate fan. They were fun, but seemed a little stiff in their theatrics. I'd go see them again and I saw the Male singer downstairs. He was nice. I think what really tied them together for me though was their bassist. Their music wasn't bad at all though. It's up to taste. I think what tied that band together in terms of what tied their vibe together as a band was probably the bass player. He was just grooving the entire time. Visions of Atlantis if you read this, get that man a pirate hat. He looked menacing from where I was sitting when he put it on. Also don't think I am saying anything was wrong. I liked your show. Now for Dragonforce. Herman Li is cool. (if you don't get that reference just go search it on youtube) They put on a show. I do think their stage presence was probably the worst though. That is probably me saying that because they were hard to watch when they had essentially small movies playing on the screen with their songs. They did nothing wrong I was just distracted. I appreciated the interaction with the crowd. They were completely solid. Many of us got called douchebags and that was pretty funny. I liked it. They really did put on a show for such a small venue though. I'd recommend seeing them too. Now the only reason I didn't give this five stars may be due to the Venue I can't tell you. I understand concerts are lound but there was a time with firewind where some note was hit or some feedback happened where it collectively kind of shot through all our ears and you could see some pain on faces. It's not just that all you could really hear was Guitar and drums. It was harder to parse out lyrics. Granted the lyrics aren't the most important thing. While I am bass deaf I can usually make it out iif I focus, it was completely lost in the wall of sound. maybe the mixing was bad. I know I had went to a show once and the audio was bad due to no fault of their own.

  • Great Venue

by Blah blah blah whatevs on 4/11/22Roxian Theatre - PittsburghRating: 4 out of 5

Dragonforce was good but not great glad I got to see them live. Firewind was decent but would definitely not see them as anything other than a supporting act. Visions of Atlantis was good but it felt more like a well rehearsed theatrical performance than a concert. Seven Spires was the best part of this show too bad they only got a 30 minute set. I would watch them headline anywhere. They have a bright future and they are amazing song writers. The Roxian theater was great. Small venue no bad views and clean updated bathrooms.

  • Amazing Absolutely Amazing

by Willie on 4/11/22Baltimore Soundstage - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

Dragonforce & Firewind especially are a must see. The Opening bands were great too but Dragonforce & Firewind were next level. Never expected to see Paul Reed Smith play Farming Simulator but I'm happy I did. Great show.

  • Fantastic Show

Three great opening bands. Dragonforce puts on a sensational show. What everyone needed after years of lockdown!
