  • It was one of the most memorable shows I have ever seen!

The show was spectacular! The performers were incredible. I love that the first part of the show was a series of modern style tap dancing that I had never seen before. The sounds of the tap shoes mixed with the musicians music was so powerful and beautiful! It was so unique!. The second part of the show was more traditional tap dancing but the dancers were absolutely exceptional! The energy that they had and the physical abilities went way beyond typical traditional tap dancing that I have seen in the past. The dancers had abilities that just blew my mind. Their bodies were moving at a speed with contorted movements that were unbelievable. I couldn't believe that the human body was capable of the movements they were making. I love all tap dancing performances but this was a show beyond anything I have ever witnessed. It was just an absolutely beautiful performance. I will never forget it! I left the show with a huge smile on my face. I hope I will have an opportunity in the future to see a performance of Dorrance Dance again.

I have to admit I was worried about the first part, tap without music , getting boring. Well silly me. Nothing was lacking, I was mesmerized the whole time, The dancers WERE the music.. You could see, hear, and feel it!

I think they should have incorporated the second half into the first half, which was better. The first half, was dark even though the tapping was amazing. However it wasn't as interesting and fun as the second half when they added a live band and one of the dancers sang....which was incredible. I saw a few people leave after the first half and I thought that was probably the reason. Perhaps they thought the second half was going to be the same.
