donnie and marie still have it!!!! they were amazing.
The Donny and Marie show was amazing! They are fantastic performers and have such great hearts. I love Marie talking about Children's MIracle Network and the fantastic work they do for children. They sang so many great favorites plus it was fun to see them covering some newer music and putting their own spin on it. I could have listened for a few more hours! The venue was nice but I was expecting a more theatre atmosphere with stadium seating. However, I could still see everything and enjoyed having the three big screens. The sound system was amazing although Marie had a few issues with her earpiece. The only thing I would say - and I realize it's Arizona - crank up the air conditioning. It was a little warm in the room. LOVE YOU DONNY AND MARIE!
The music was extremely loud and the bass was shaking to the body. This is a show where the audience is the same age as the Donnie and Marie. If you had no hearing problems, before you have it now.it seems so also as the standard songs are playback, I heard background singers but didn't see them
Spectacular show, felt like I was in Vegas. Marie's clothes were absolutely gorgeous and so sparkly. The show lasted almost 2 hours. Well worth the price of the tickets. They are so talented and hilarious. They didn't miss a beat! I was sad the show was over.
Awesome show. Donny and Marie are a class act! I saw them in Las Vegas last year and they were just as good!
They put on a great show. Marie surprise the audience with her song from Miss Saigon. They have a good banter between them.
My 3rd time to see their show! Awesome as always!!!
As one of the many 1970s teenyboppers who had a crush on Donny Osmond, I couldn't pass up the chance to see this duo even though that type of music is no longer my "cup of tea." Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed this high-energy, top-quality production a great deal. Donny and Marie are highly talented and still filled with energy; they connect well with their audience. Two minor disappointments: many of the performances were abridged versions of the songs, which I didn't care for at all, and at times the audience "chitchat" was excessive (it felt like they were stalling for time). A few more of the old Osmond numbers would have been fun to hear as well. I do realize they can't squeeze it all in. The highlight for me was Donny Osmond's moving performance of "Moon River" with video tribute to Andy Williams. That brought back wonderful memories of my parents. I'd recommend the show for anyone who has a positive connection in any way to the Osmonds and their music, but the abridged song versions were a real disappointment for me and I hope they will re-think that for future shows.
Donny and Marie were wonderful but the theater sound mixed had the band amped up so high that, at times, you couldn't hear their voices and that spoiled the show for us. We saw them in Vegas in a far more professional production and we love them.
This is the 8th time I have seen Donnie and Marie in Concert. You never get tired of their show. It's always funny, high energy, entertaining and just leaves you feeling good. Great show, never disappoints!
It was such a pleasure being able to see Donny & Marie in person. They don't come too far on the east coast, so us New Yorkers traveled to Canada to see this great show! This was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I'm so glad to have taken it. As Donny was singing "puppy love, I was that 13 year old girl again. Taking a trip down memory lane with the Osmonds as well as their current music was really fun. The venue was terrific. We had great seats on the side. Wish I had been center as Donny ran up through the center aisle. Would definitely go see them again. Hope they come to Central New York sometime!!
These dynamic duo has the energy and performance which is fun and reaches a wide range of all ages!
One of the best shows ever! I would go again in a heartbeat!
Band overpowered their voices when they opened. A bit improved when each did their solo half hour. They are very entertaining with great voices. The sound engineer goofed.
Donny and Marie were both wonderful. They are still great entertainers and know how to put on a great show. They both battled through the hot lights and humidity to give everyone more than their moneys worth.
Oh my goodness, what a treat! This was one of the best shows I have ever seen. TOTALLY worth the drive, hotel stay and ticket price, You will not be disappointed!
I did like the pictures on the screen, the dancing, the effects and some of the show. As a Donny fan since 1969, I was disappointed with their show. I understand they have to sing new songs, but it would have been nice to hear more of the "old" songs. I did not enjoy the joking around, it was too much. It seemed to be forced. Some of the jokes being said by Marie as they pertained to women, were not appropriate. I was embarrassed as a women. I cannot imagine the thoughts of the men in the audience. When I mentioned this to my husband, he could not believe it. I was disappointed with the merchandise that was being sold. I know this it is up the performers, but there were no programs or Donny shirts. This is the first time I have seen them where programs were not sold and just Marie shirts. It seemed as though unless you were up front, it didn't matter if you were in the audience or not. Some of those sitting in the front were taking away from the show. One women said something to Donny, next thing you know, she has his new cd and going backstage. The Facebook contest was a complete joke. (They pick someone from his/her message). Out of all those in attendance, I could not believe the winner with the best message received was from an 18 yr old who didn't even know who Donny was. Seemed a little strange. I could not even get onto FB in the venue. I will not attend another Donny and Marie concert. This does upset me because I have been a longtime fan.
Loved every minute! Did not disappoint! Come again!
I have seen a few concerts in my time. Styx, Bob Seger, Tina Turner, George Strait etc. Donny and Marie is the best I’ve seen. That 60 year old man can put on a show. Marie wasn’t so bad herself at 58. AWESOME!!!!!!!!
This may have been my sixth or seventh time to see Donny and Marie... with my last having been in Vegas. The Vegas show was so enjoyable - and then they bring this to The Ryman! It was Vegas on steroids. It's always too short... which tells me I am thoroughly enjoying the music (singing was just amazing by both), dancing (Donny wins!), repartee... (Marie wins!). Knowing they were performing under 'The Show Must Go On' was even more impressive, since their brother Tom was in ICU on life support after quadruple bypass surgery. Always professional, always at the top of their game. A privilege to watch Donny and Marie's performance.
