DONNY AND MARIE OSMOND IN CONCERT:
Donny and Marie Osmond have been entertaining audiences since their teenage days as the loveable brother-sister duo on their late-‘70s hit TV show. Nearly 40 years later, the Osmonds still have an undeniable chemistry, singing hits like “I’m Leaving It (All) Up To You” and “It Takes Two” alongside a nine-piece band and backup dancers. The siblings sound just as sharp as when they made their television debut in 1976, delighting fans with plenty of Vegas glitz and glamour during their residency at The Flamingo.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Donny and Marie Osmond got their start early on – Donny as a pop teen idol and Marie as country music’s young sweetheart. After co-hosting the Mike Douglas Show together in their late teens, the siblings formed a duo and landed their own television series, launching to stardom as they covered hit songs and charmed audiences nationwide. Since then, they’ve each enjoyed successful solo runs, had a number of Top 40 hits, and showcased their dancing skills on the show Dancing With The Stars, proving themselves to be all-around entertainers. Donny and Marie continue to treat fans to their wildly impressive talents as they headline The Flamingo showroom in Las Vegas.

Donny & Marie are consummate entertainers & didn’t disappoint however, The Flamingo Showroom is disgusting. The balcony seats are “bar stools” for a 1.5 hr show. I’ve been to quite a few theaters in this town some charge less & have much better seating. This Showroom is by far the worst. Narrow, poorly lit stairs & horrible seating. Hate to have to exit the balcony in a fire.
Marie got hurt so it was only Donny...He did a great show and made up for it...But..We did pay to see both..together..so it would have been nice if we could have received a bonus of some sort..The booths are a smidgeon snugg and very costly to have a drink..I loved the show but it wasnt the best experience..
Marie took a tumble early in the show, injuring her knee. Donny did practically the whole show solo, and he didn’t disappoint. Great showmanship and rapport with the audience. Other than not being able to hear “I’m a little bit country, I’m a little bit rock and roll” I don’t feel I missed much by it mainly just being the Donny show! Loved getting my photo taken with the cutout of Donny!!
Donny came out at the start to announce Marie’s leg had been injured and she could not perform. Everyone was very disappointed, especially after traveling so far for one of their last performances. Donny proceeded with his one man show and did not disappoint! He captured us all with his gift to personalize every song. His warmth and goodness draws people in and makes every person he meets feel like a friend. He is a world class entertainer in every way!
Now I understand why this is rated as the best show in Vegas. Talent, humor, and more talent.
Donny came out and announced that Marie had fallen in the show a couple nites before and couldn't perform. He improvised and did what he could without her. Very disappointed! Purchased tickets last March before they had announced that they were quitting the show. Had front row seats, at a bargain price.
This was an amazing experience! Unfortunately we could not see Marie as she was not well, but Donny went on with the show and impressed our socks off! He is a total professional. Am more a fan than ever!
Donny put on a great show Saturday, despite the absence of Marie who was injured during the show on Thursday. Was disappointed in seeing Marie on the “the Talk” on Monday following her absence, say she would be there for the final week regardless of her injury ..... made me wonder why she couldn’t have done the same 2 days earlier. The sole of purpose of attending the show was seeing them together for the final performances. (Wasn’t the first time for a split show either, a year earlier Donny was “sick” and Marie performaed a solo show). Still a fan, but probably would not go out of the way to book again, for fear of seeing a solo act......sorry, but the tickets, airfare, and hotel, was a bit costly, and not seeing the duo perform.
The show was wonderful! The meet and greet afterwards was, as always, warm and memorable! I'm glad we were able to get there again to attend one of the last shows!!
My sister and I shared a childhood of loving The Osmonds so she from Chicago and me from Seattle met in Las Vegas to see their act before they end their residency It was a wonderful show full of nostalgia and laughter and Donny looks and sounds better than ever! It was a dream come true
There was NO indication that we would have to walk up many stairs to our "seats". One person in our group had a very difficult time with the stairs witch cause us to miss the start of the show. Our "seats" were high bar stools, no arms, very uncomfortable. These issues should have be noted somewhere in the description. We were very disappointed with the seats.
I wanted to see Donny and Marie again before they ended their residency (I saw them 10 years ago.) The concert this time was different but just as entertaining. Donny came out and told us that Marie had hurt her knee and would not be moving around as much. Then the concert started on time and ended way too soon! I loved the interaction with the audience and those two are so talented! I splurged for a meet and greet and because of her injury (I am guessing) Marie wasn't able to attend. We were given the option of a partial refund and no meet and greet with Donny, but heck no! I wanted to meet my childhood crush and the meeting didn't disappoint. Overall, a wonderful evening of music, dancing and entertainment.
My daughter has Down's syndrome and was in a production of Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat earlier this year. She has watched Donny's version from the 90s close to a hundred times and knows every line to every song. So for her 21st birthday she wanted to go to Las Vegas and see Donny and Marie...and that's what we did! Not only did my daughter LOVE the show but my husband and I were blown away at their amazing talent!! But the highlight of the evening was meeting Donny & Marie after the show. They were so incredibly sweet to her! It was her dream come true and we bought every picture!! Thank you Donny & Marie!!!
We were so disappointed that Marie fell after her first personal number and was unable to perform the rest of the evening. Donny did a great show without Marie but she was the main reason I had purchased tickets and driven 7 hours to come to the concert. Our seats were bad-we didn't realize that we would be unable to see most of the show. We were on row D in the balcony and they were VERY POOR seats!! Everyone around us was disappointed with our seats. Luckily, we were able to see the stage events on the three screens but that is nothing like being able to see it live. When I purchased tickets, it indicated that it may be an obstructed view, so I made a phone call and was told that I would be unable to see when the stage ramp into the audience was used but would be able to see the rest of the show-which wasn't accurate information at all. Donny did a great show, but overall it was a disappointing experience-mostly because of Marie.
Was not sure half the time what songs they were singing because the music was so loud and, frankly, neither of them has much of a range left. Thought this might be a great nostalgia piece with a couple of old pros showing how it is done. It sounded like a pair of American Idol also-rans trying to out-shout the music and each other.
This was the best concert ever. Donny and Marie put on an amazing show.
Booked balcony seats and was not told the view would be entirely obstructed. Seats were hard chairs. Unfortunately, Marie was injured and could not perform. We should of had the option of a refund at that point.
We attended on 11/7/19, the night that Marie fell and injured her knee and had to be taken to the emergency room, so Donny wound up doing the whole show. It was nice, but we didn't feel we got our money's worth without both of them there. We wound up watching a lot of videos from Donny's past and not a lot of live numbers. We do hope that Marie is healing well, though. I'm certain Donny was exhausted by the end of the show, however.
When we order our ticket in the balcony the tickets it was suppose to be a non obstructing view. When we got there the chairs when moved back and could not see the front part of the stage. Don’t get the balcony seats. They are all obstructed view Flamingo
Marie fell on her Face 10 minutes into the show, and then after a 10 minute delay, Donny came out and performed an excellent solo act. But We spent over $2000 to see Donny AND Marie. This was my wife's 60 birthday and retirement gift. We are both teachers and the flight, hotel, and show Tix were a big expense for us. Sad we didn't get to really see Donny and Marie. Hope she is ok.
