Loved the show .. donavon frankenreiter never stops amazing me
Donavon was amazing as usual! My first time to the Canyon Club and I was impressed - great layout, great sound, great food! Definitely will be coming back for more shows. I like that you can choose between having a table/dinner or GA area.
Great show that felt like Donavon was playing amongst friends in his living room.
This show was AWESOME! It was an amazing night, great venue, great music. It was definitely one of My best nights ever!! Thank you Record Bar for bringing Donovan Frankenreiter to Kansas City!
But he was awesome. You could tell he wasn’t that into it... and only played an hour, but luckily I love his music so I was happy to hear what I did. I loved the record bar!
donavon & crew killed it @ TLA! sound was great & show was filled w/ jam sesh after jam sesh! always have a blast seeing donavon, but him & the boys have opened a whole new box of goodness this round! looks like they are having a blast up there & the fanbase couldnt be happier! until the next round, thank you for yet another stellar musical experience :)
This was my fourth DF concert and I was pretty disappointed with his performance. He didn’t engage with the crowd and it seemed as though he and his band simply went through the motions. I understand that they perform everyday in the summer, which is very tough, but as a fan I left the concert feeling as though they didn’t enjoy themselves up on stage. Aside from brining a young elementary girl on stage to sing “Shine”, he didn’t look at the audience durIng their bit. As much as I love his music, I was pretty disappointed.
Always a great show. Great people. Great vibes. Improved merch table. Venue was great as well. Must see!
Concert was fantatsic ! There were 6 of us, one experiencing her first concert EVER !! Donovan delivered a jam packed night of favorites ❤ A groovy night for all !!
Small venue was great. Felt like I was hanging with Donovan and his band at a jam session. Great performance by all three guys.
It was a great show as always. HE did not interact with the fans as much as usual but he still sounded great!
Mixed messages confused a few of us on when doors opened. And honestly, hanging around the venue waiting for the main act, which didn't start until way after 10 p.m. was a waste of my time. The opening act was boring. The headliner barely played for more than an hour. A LOT of dead time and waiting around means I don't plan on returning anytime soon.
Great show, fun venue! The opening act was a bit slow but DF was awesome!
It's a show that we look forward to every year. A true musician and showman.
Donavan is in his element when he is playing live. He and the band deliver an electric performance performing all of the songs that you know by heart! His stage presence is palpable and he shares that with is audience. Given the opportunity to see him again, I would jump at the chance!
Awesome concert! Always delivers. Would love to Enjoy his music in another venue next year in order to avoid the middle age women who slobber all over the stage and push everyone around. The blue ocean music hall is still one of My favorite places.
I have liked this band for some time and their show did not disappoint. The guy on harmonica was so talented and gave an amazing performance. Great show.
SO much fun, he did a great job and had us all dancing up a storm. Very personable. Posed for photos after the show and helped us with the flash. :-) I had never been to Blue Ocean Music Hall - what a wonderul place! Got good munchies and drinks while looking at the waves, then onto the dance floor.
I have seen Donavon many many times and its always a fun show. His band is tight and he always plays a great set. I am always annoyed when artist get the audience to come up and sing. I came to watch donavon not Kareoke
10 of us ranging in age from teen to our 60s enjoyed the music and passion of Donavon Franenreiter and the band.
