    Great pipes Don!

by LisaG on 7/12/09The Venue - Hammond

Don still had a beautiful voice. So glad he's still making an effort, and pretty well at that! However, Don was only on stage for about 45 minutes. Wish the show would have been a bit longer- at least an hour would have been nice.

    Mister Warmth does not disappoint

by CountdeMoney on 7/12/09The Venue - Hammond

The show was incredible! The only times I wasn't laughing was when Don was singing. He fired off joke after joke, and insulted just about everyone in the audience! I hope all my faculties are a sharp as Don Rickles' are when I reach his age!

    Best Place for any show

by Danger on 7/12/09The Venue - Hammond

The Venue hosted Don Rickles recently and it was fantastic. The show was 1 hour long, which was fine for an 80+ year old comedian! Really didn't appreciate the show not starting as scheduled.

    Rickles Still Going Strong

by HeyNow on 7/12/09The Venue - Hammond

I'd wanted to see Don Rickles for years. The timing was finally right when he came to The Venue in Hammond -- but I was a bit concerned given that he's now 83! Forget age! Rickles put on a better show than performers a quarter or half his age! He sings, he dances and, of course, he insults ("he kids"). This is one performer who is not past his prime!

    Rickles performance too short

by Olley on 7/12/09The Venue - Hammond

My husband and I went to see Rickles because he has been a huge fan of his and never had an opportunity to see him. I bought him the tickets for his birthday. He was so excited to see him. Needless to say, we were both disappointed. His performance only lasted about 40 minutes. A lot of money to spend for such a short performance. We still enjoy watching him when he makes TV appearances, especially on Letterman, but we will not spend the money to see him again in concert. We still love him though.
